TOW or TotW?

Isn't the official abbreviation for Tales of the World supposed to be TOW? Like TOA for Tales of the Abyss? TOW just looks and sounds better than TotW. My two cents.

It's just TOW. Even the logo does not place any importance on "the." Like with TOA, though, most English speakers feel the need to acknowledge the "the" for some reason (As well as make the O lowercase)...

I usually like to think of it as "ToW" with the "o" lowercase, just as I do with ToS, ToL, ToA, etc. I don't usually like to put emphasis on the "the"

I use TotW right now, but like what happened with ToA instead of TotA I'll get lazy after typing it enough times and probably prefer ToW... as for the lower case 'o'... it bugs me to capitalize it so...

ToW with a lower case "o" for me. (Erm, in this game's case, ToW:RM.)

TotW, because if 'of' gets a spot in the abbreviation, then I don't see why 'the' doesn't.

Which makes me wonder why "Of" is more worth capitalizing than "The"?

Well, in proper grammar, in titles, neither "the" or "of" get capitalized. But for your case, I think it is just habit or personal preference.
