Also Tear and Legretta did nothing for me at any point of the plot.
Not to say I hate them, I just found them boring, granted Tear's personality was starting to bug me (damn it woman, is it so hard to speak about your problems instead of just answering "Oh...no, nothing wrong.")

The fight was too easy, even on Unknown mode... <_<'
I thought most of the God-Generals were boring except for Asch and Dist, actually. Even after doing the Legretta and Largo sidequests, they still didn't seem very interesting...

Luke. I ABSOLUTELY DESPISED LUKE.
Whenever someone talks about how "Luke is the best of the Tales heroes, Luke has the best character development, Luke is the most believable, blah blah blah" I just want to throw up. I find none of those three things to be true.
Character development is great and all, but when you're never not annoyed by said character, their development is meaningless. -_-
I will be honest. I despised Luke all the way through the game. He went from being a jerk (and he wasn't even a cool jerk) to being a whiny baby to being a typical hero.
Luke's character development can be summed up this way:
"Master Van pwns all of you, you stupid idiots." -> "But-but-but-but Master Van made me do it!" -> "Asch, you're so much better than me because you're an original and I'm a replica, I'm going to go slit my wrists now because I'm so pathetic and I'm just a worthless replica." -> "Okay! Let's go save the world lol!"
I wonder if Luke ever realized that nobody would know that he was a replica unless he told them. Apparently not, because he kept on whining about how Asch was superior in every way because Asch was an original.
Asch wasn't much better- he was the same as Luke, except for instead of going all emo about his massive inferiority complex, he took out his anger on Luke whenever Luke happened to be around.
I'm probably the only person who laughed when Asch died, but I don't care. I hated him.
To me, the personalities of both Asch and Luke seem to say "Screw decent writing! We're going to pack as much worthless drama into these two as we possibly can! lol!!!111!!11!1!!11!"
