I just watched the Paper Mario 2 trailer yesterday. That looks sweet. Can't wait till they post some new Zelda footage or some Tales news. _________________

I'm kinda disappointed that Advance Wars Under Fire isn't a turn-based strategy game anymore. The new RTS/Shooter seems a bit off, I hope there's going to be a more traditional Advance Wars in development. _________________

I'm looking foreward to Tales of course. And I'm looking foreward to Paper Mario 2 and the new Zelda game. They all sound really fun. _________________ Yes, I am a dude. Dood!

Yeah, I'm not really happy about the new Advance Wars, either. I liked the GBA Advance wars, but...I hate RTS AND Shooters. xD Well, not hate, but I generally don't like them. And what about the COs? Are those gone, too?
Plus, it's not even done by the same people that did the GBA ones, Intelligent Systems. (Maybe they're too busy working on Fire Emblem?) _________________

From the screenshots, I've seen, it just doesn't look like an Advance Wars game any more. Maybe they were hoping to attract a new audience, but I can't see that working. I expect there will be another GBA Advance Wars strategy as well though. I'd hoped to see a FFTA 'Cube game, but oh well. Lots of other cool new games though. |

half-life 2
Doom 3
Area 51
RE4
Legend of Zelda
Spider-man 2
ToS
Baten Kaitos
Xenosaga II
Prince of Persia 2
Fable (even though I don't have an Xbox)
Halo 2 ("")
Final Fantasy XII (I won't be getting this baby for a couple of years)
I'm definitely going to get Half-life, Spider-man 2, and ToS this year.
I'm planning on getting Legend of Zelda and Xenosaga II (i might wait for the price to go down on this as well (Xenosaga was my first PS2 game).
Resident Evil 4 looks so great that I'm sorry that I'll probably not be able to get it.
I might get Doom 3. I don't know.
I'll wait for PoP and PoP2 prices to come down.
I don't know if I'll like baten kaitos. A battle system is very important in an rpg (not the most important). I don't think i'll be willing to risk spending $50 dollars on a battle system I might hate. |

I have mixed feelings about Advanced Wars: Under Fire. On the good side, you actually control units on a tactical level, moving individual people and tanks around as opposed to entire groups (strategic). It also looks to be action packed. On the bad side, the great strategy elements may be gone. I want a full 3D campaign editor! Another thing is they've brought in futuristic units and taken the whole "modern war" strategy out of it. I'd prefer to play a strategy game with more realistic units and not things like Neotanks. _________________

I'm disapointed with the lack of anything about SO3...
And people here were saying ToS was shafted >_> _________________ "All I want is what any man would want, a drink, a woman and a bit of gambling not necessarily in any given order" - Son of Battles: Mat Cauthon |

I'm actually quite happy that this year's E3 focuses on newly announced games and consoles. In previous years, it was more about covering previously announced games with updated impressions or progress reports. That's not a bad thing, but this year's E3 felt new and fresh. Phantasy Star Universe... *drools* _________________

I remember last year, I had a whole CD full of game trailers I downloaded. This year wasn't as good media wise (Notable exceptions being the Zelda footage and the press conferences). I wish they would release more gameplay video of the new stuff. _________________

This E3 was awesome!! (especially if you're a Nintendo Fan)
Nintendo showed a lot of cool things. Especially Zelda and Nintendo DS were really cool. The Nintendo DS just looks awesome. I'm going to get that thing for sure!
And the new look of Zelda.... *drool*
I have a LOT of media form this E3. Especially DS footage. It is really fun to see how games are going to be played on Nintendo DS. The touchscreen adds a whole new dimension to gaming.
Star Fox looks waaaay better than last year. Same goes for GEIST.
I'm going to buy those games for sure... And then.. Resident Evil 4..
Those graphics... *starts drooling again*
Metroid Prime Echoes looks also very nice. They included some cool new features in the game. I wonder how that echo visor is going to work.
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat looks a whole lot of fun! It seems like real fun to play a platform game with those conga's.
I'm dissapointed in the attention that ToS got. I've only seen one trailer of the game this E3 and it's almost the same as the exclusive video on this site. I was hoping to see some more footage of the voice-acting.
IMO Zelda and Resident Evil 4 were the best games that Nintendo showed this E3. And the Nintendo DS was the best new system.
What are your opinions on this E3? _________________
