I bought this game in Japan and just now got home with it, so I'm not that far yet. Someone told me that there is a furigana option, but I don't see it on the menu. I told them I didn't see it, but they insist that it's there.
I've noticed furigana written over some words that they want to be pronounced differently from the kanji. And for some odd reason, they wrote furigana over the kanji for kirei... (綺麗) But other than that, no furigana.
Does anyone know if it's possible to turn furigana on? It seems like it would be possible since the game uses furigana sometimes and the whole instruction book uses furigana too.
Another unrelated question. How do I change the on screen character to Tear? I want to play as Luke, but have Tear for my on screen. _________________

There is no furigana option; your friend was wrong.
To change your on-screen character, you must have the S Flag (Sフラッグ) item that you get from Cheagle Woods. If you have that, just hit the circle button on whoever you want to be on screen in the status menu. |
