Do you know if Namco are planning to make a tales of.. game for the wii.
It would be really good. Imagine swing the controler as a sword in battle's. That would be amazing and i am sure namco could think of some other excellent uses for it as well.

I don't see why they wouldn't make one for the Wii... ToS is one of the top GC games, mainly because there are about 4 RPGs on the console. I'd suggest Namco to do games for the Wii, mainly also because it is cheaper then the PS3 and in general there is alot more RPG serises on the PS3, Like Kingdom Hearts, Final Fanasty, ect.

That really doesn't say much now does it.

Also while Symphonia did well here in North America (I don't know about Europe), it didn't fare so well in Japan.

Yeah it did. The PS2 version sold more than the GCN version. A remake surpassing it's original!!

Yeah I know the PS2 version sold more (though compared to older Tales game it sort of fell a bit short) but I ment the Cube version which did well but not well enough.

Eh, who says they have to use the motion sensing? o_o;
They can just use it for other stuff, like minigames, and maybe pointing at an enemy to target.
Nunchuck control stick to move, 1+2 for Attacks and Techs, targeting by pointing, D Pad for strategies, Z1 for Free Run, Z2 for Delay Magic or something?
Well, anyway, I can see it working out.

Whichever console Namco decides to create a Tales game for, I hope they only release Tales games on that console. I would rather it be the Wii, merely because of the lower price. However, I really do not care as long as they stick with whichever system they prefer.

I really cannot see the motion sensing being used in a Tales game except for mini-games and such. It would be much easier to play with traditional controls. That is, unless they come up with an entirely new approach to LMBS.

Exactly Super Smash Bros isn't using the motion sensing so if Namco wanted to make a Tales game for the Wii it is possible to use the normal control style for the main game and the motion sensing for the mini-games.
