Wow. Looks like wishes came true for some people. Thought there was something about that news post on an anime site I found. Was made so long ago, and yet...
Is it being made by the same artist as the anime scenes, cause I thought that work was awesome. |

Namco is going crazy with the Tales series this year. It's truly the Tales of the Year (Year of the Tales?)...
From what some of the katakana says, I see the names Frontierworks, Geneon Entertainment, and ufotable. It looks like ufotable is doing the animation.

You know, I'm now wondering which path from the game they'll actually go with? o_O
But well, personally, I think the game's true storyline is both of the paths combined...I mean, they could have easily let Zelos save everyone at the Tower of Salvation and stay in the party, then just have Kratos rejoin again at Dirk's house (instead of him getting all tired >_>), but they probably had to make the game in such a way so that you couldn't have more than 8 party members at the same time...so yeah, I don't see why they can't do that for the anime now.

Oh yes, very true.
Now you got me wondering too. But if they can't combine, they'll probably follow the Colette path.

Well I mean, I think they would go with the "default" path for the "soul mate" option, so yeah, they'd probably have Colette as the person you have to save from Mithos and then bring together the two paths like I suggested (at least, I hope that's what they do >_> <_< XD).

It really is Tales Year, isn't it? Tales of Legendia, Phantasia AND The Abyss all released in North America this year, and now this on top of everything. ^_^ Ahh... *opens up a bottle of Palma Potion and relaxes*
The question is, though -- this is more likely than Phantasia anyway, considering its popularity in North America -- will this be dubbed in English? *actually hopes so, although she wouldn't mind watching it in Japanese or anything -- she just likes the voice acting in the English release*

So hopefully this will be longer than 4 episodes like ToP. ToP shows that squeezing a 30 hour game into 4 episode OVA makes it confusing and makes it miss out a lot of stuff. I'd hate it if they squeeze this ~60 hour game into 4 episodes. I'm think it should be around 12....
