So what do people on the forums listen to? Feel free to list your favorite genre of music do you usually and your favorite bands, artists, musicians, etc.

My personal favorites:
1. Pink Floyd
2. Radiohead
3. Weezer
4. Placebo
5. Yellowcard

And I mainly listen to rock.

Japanese music and video game music/remixes. I'm also a fan of Weird Al.

4. And a whole lot of anime openings and ending songs.

Hmm, I'm not much of a music fan but I like most orchestral music and I also enjoy some japanese music, its either very catchy or very soothing. I don't have any personal favourite.

I am also mostly into rock music.

My favorite bands are:

-Red Hot Chili Peppers
-Modest Mouse
-Pink Floyd
-The Beatles

But I also like video game/anime music.

I tend to listen to mostly Christian rock and pop music...it's not that I don't like mainstream music, it's just that I can listen to Christian radio stations around my parents without them hearing something. ^^;; Some of my favorite bands/artists:

Skillet (rock...i'm not exactly sure what type of rock you'd call them, though)
dc Talk (pop-rock?)
Kevin Max (pop--sometimes sounds a bit like a male version of Enya, too)
Tait (pop-rock)
ZoeGirl ('guitar driven pop')

And...those are the ones I can think of for now. ^^;;

Hmmm, I am not too particular when it comes to music. I love dc talk, video game music, anime intros and endings, and basically a little bit of everything else besides country and rap.

Don't have much variation in music CDs aside video game soundtracks. Got a lot of those. Aside that, Weird Al, Enya, Cirque du Soleil, TMBG, some Classical music CDs (i.e. Debussy, Bach, Vivaldi, etc). I think that's it. I still have some casette tapes. Confused

I listen to everything except country. OC remixes are what i listen to most though.

I was raised primarily on rock. I got into the hybrids like radiohead, death cab for cutie, and modest mouse. Anyway, my favorite bands/artists:

death cab for cutie
radiohead
modest mouse
led zepplin (come on, the GODS OF ROCK)
white stripes
weezer
chilli peppers
pink floyd (dark side of the moon was fabulous)
the roots (yes I know theyre rap)
outkast (rap, again I know)

I also like some video game music, whatever sounds good

There's nothing wrong with rap, if its "intellegent". Raps that only talk about sex, drugs, and killing are stupid thats why outkast is good. Kanye West is also really good.

^^0 Rap can be an art for the rapper, just like anything else. I'm not really a rap person though. I love Kayne West's All Falls Down.

I like a lot of types of music, like R&B, pop, and rock. It really depends on the song more than the type of music, and my mood. ^^0
