Hey, I bought TOD2 (AKA TOE) for my older brother (16) and we just beat it.
And I have to say that game was really really great.
If tales of symphonia is half as good as TOE it will be a good game

That last boss was really hard! we played the entirer game on 2 player.
When we beat it where are bracing ourselvs for a third round
And when it was over we wanted more, I thought keele and reid where going to die because I read how you can battle farah and meredy in TOS
and I was like "What no keele or reid!?" as you can guess... I played the game as keele (well not at first)
If you dont have the game... get it!

Even though ToE is nice, I think ToS is waaay better. I don't think they do as many creative things with mage control though.

It's for the PSX/PS1.
I liked ToE a lot, but since I only played the localized version, I think I'm going to enjoy ToS a lot more.

Spoiler...sort of: You fight them in the arena. The cameo enemies are Farah and Meredy from Tales of Eternia, and Woodrow from Tales of Destiny. I think you fight them all at once (in one battle) so you can't do a Colette vs. Farah one-on-one, but you can control Colette and target Farah. ^^0

yea great game, I dont know why it was in purple... its only $19 but its very rare in NY and NJ had to hunt it down

Oh, so a mod fixed your post?
Highlight the text you want to color out, click Font colour (it's up there above the text box), and in the drop-down menu select Indigo.

well you put a tag around it.

That particular battle has absolutely no plot bearing on either game.
It's like fighting Cless in Tales of Eternia. Just some entirely out-of-place interpromotion on Namco's part.
