I searched for a Kill Bill topic, there was none, so....

I just watched the first one tonight. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. The action was amazing and the music, oh, I loved the music. It was so original, the way they used the music. But one thing I did not like was the over-emphasis of blood. I mean, I'm for gore and all, but if it is going to be there, and least make it look more realistic than a fountain spray...

Also, the anime scenes rocked my socks.

It's really violent, just the way I like movies!! She killed everybody! I wouldn't like to meet her in real life, though. I'd be "can I have your autogrpah?" and she'd say "WHAT??!" *cuts my head off* Laughing

It was ok. Not bad.

but do you know that the girl with the mace that has that huge fight with Uma...shes from the movie "Battle Royale" where she had this cool fight scene and stabbed this one boy somewhere painful. Mad Anyways, thats where Quentin saw her, and got her from.

I have vol 1 and vol 2 on DVD and I really like both of them, the fight scenes were prettty damn awesome, and all the dialogue still has the same style and awesomeness that made Tarantino's other movies so good.

The fight with the school girl eas easily the best, but the Lucy Liu fight was also good, not necessarily in the actual fighting, but the area they fought in was so cool, with the snow and the sound of the water pouring and all the gardens everywhere, just such a good scene, and that wierd music that came on close to when Uma finished Lucy Liu off was really cool.

over all great movie, check out the deleted scene on the Kill Bill vol 2 DVD, it's pretty awesome.

A little gross though.

I found Kill Bill 1 a bit over gory.

yea I can agree with that, the gore does get a bit out of hand in the first movie, not so much in the second one though, never the less, they are so ****ing awesome.

That's becuase it's based of old kung foo movies, westerns, and anime, so the over-emphasis on blood (the fountains XD) was intentional. Quintin's weird like that. Weird in an awesome way. I loved both movies.

Personally, I wish there would've been more spaghetti Western influence. What's in there is good and I do love how it uses music from Sergio Leone's movies. But I wanted a good, long showdown/shoot-out.

w00t! A Kill Bill Topic!!!
I loved the first one!! Second one was less but also good. First one had more action so that made it r0ck even more ^^ but Uma Thurman was hotter in the second volume. Meh, the ending sucked! =/
But I love KILL BILL!!! =)
