OMG, I never thought I'd find myself in this board after that Pocky thread of mine. Anyway....I didn't look around, so if anyone has made a thread for this yet (though I doubt many have seen this show), point it out for me.
Alright...it's on Nickelodeon, which is why I'd assume most anime fans haven't seen it, although I wouldn't know since I'm not an anime fan myself. Anyway, when it debuted on Nick, I wasn't doing anything, so I just watched it. The animation is very nice, one of the show's strong points. Also though, it was similar to the kind of RPG's I usually like, with the four elements and people who can "bend" these elements. I've enjoyed all the episodes I've watched so far. I think it'd even make an excellent game. So, I just wanted to discuss it if anyone else has seen it.

That show's actually pretty spiffy. I like it. It sorta like Japenese Animation like Totally Spies or Teen Titans. I've liked all the episodes I've seen so far. Katara rocks my socks off. She's pretty awesome. Good characters. RPG related. Good storyline. I like it ^_^

I've seen a bunch of episodes:The thing that I like best about it is the music. However, I think it's a kind of silly show... But enjoyable none the less. I watch it every now and then when I have nothing better to do.

This show is bizarre. It's American... but... Japanese....
And it's not as stupid as Samurai Jack or Totally Spies. x_x The battles are pretty cool. And the characters look cool too. Nice. But that doesn't mean it beats any real anime! >O

You know what? I wouldn't know if it was American or not, it's all anime to me. XD I'd say it's better than any of these "real" animes just because of the humor, I hate Japanese anime's humor, not to mention all the other things I like about it.

You can tell by the mouth movements. And what tthe heck is Totally Spies? ??? Anyway, I thought Samurai Jack was cool. This show thought is one of my favorite Nick shows.

Samurai Jack is stupid? Since when?
Totally spies is french?
Then why does the mouth movements fit the american dialogue so very well?
Something doesn't seem right.
As for avatar, I'd agree with Katt's Matt about the humor part.

*twitch* Did you just say what I...THINK you said?? ^^;; Samurai Jack won an EMMY!
Anyway...I've only seen a little of Avatar, but it seemed OK. I think I heard Scott Menville in it, so that was cool. XD
Anyway, this show isn't really anime (at least, here we're defining 'anime' as a Japanese cartoon), so I'm going to move it to entertainment.

Yes, it's an American cartoon, which, sadly, has to be on Nickelodeon. I must say, it's pretty damn good. Though, I believe the Japanese are redundant on their themes. Someone's getting sent to the Shadow Realm, someone's dying for the sake of someone else, the fate of the world at stake, someone's in a Coma, someone's got powers they have to discover. The Americans adopted some of the common themes, made them somewhat child friendly(it did have to be on Nick) and came up with a pretty good cartoon. Bless the Yanks for it!

Yea, like Morwen said. Samurai Jack is awesome, and won an Emmy!
This show is pretty cool. Not a bad storyline, and seeing how its on Nick, I thought it would be horrible. Pretty cool though.
But the dude with the boomerang is such a loser. "Get back! I'm warning you!" As if his boomerang is that great.

Hahah, he's the comic relief character, when he's serious, he's a lot different. I wouldn't say he's a bad character.
