HEIMDALL (2) - TORENT FOREST - DIRK'S HOUSE (?)
| Code: | Monsters: Items/Treasure: Misc:
-Man-eater -Stardust
-Torent -Crystal Dagger
-Alraune -Angel's Tear
-Sheldra -Acalanatha
-Carnivorous Plant -Mana Protector
-SPOILER BOSS (E) -EX Gem Lv4
-ORIGIN (E) -EX Gem Lv3
-EX Gem Lv4
-Shield Ring
-Warlock Garb
-Material Blade (E)
-Eternal Ring (E) |
- Your characters will split up when you get into Heimdall. When you're ready, go to the inn. After the scene, go talk to the Elf Elder to the left of the inn.
- When you enter the forest, you'll see a bushbaby. The object of this forest is to burn the bushbaby so that it'll run off, and then you can follow it to the correct path. If you go the wrong way, you end up on the other side of the same screen.
- Instead of a headache of directions, here's a map:
- You have two boss fights in a row again, but they're easier this time.
- Boss:Kratos(Spoiler)
- HP: 12000 / TP: 1400
- Item Drop: None / Steal: None
- Strength: Thunder, Light / Weakness: None
- Gald: 5520 / EXP: 9990
- Suggested Level:
- Suggested Strategy: Strategy: Wear a Thunder Cape so you have defense against Lightning and Wind, but you should be able to dodge Thunder Blade and Air Thrust (and Grave) easily anyway.
- Boss: Origin
- HP: 40000 / TP: 800
- Item Drop: Reflect Ring / Steal: None
- Strength: None / Weakness: None
- Gald: 9870 / EXP: 10240
- Suggested Level:
- Suggested Strategy: Get three (or four) fighters and just beat on him till he's down. He casts spells so fast that you can't really prepare for them, so they're hard to dodge. :/ Watch out for Rameesh.
- You'll temporarily lose a party member after the fight.
- You have to save two elves and the Elf Elder to leave.

DERRIS-KHARLAN - WELGAIA (2) - VINHEIM
| Code: | Monsters: Items/Treasure: Misc:
-Samael -EX Gem Lv2 -TITLE: Eternal Swordsman (Lloyd) (E)
-Death -EX Gem Lv3
-Doom Guard -Golden Helm
-Phantasm -Magical Ribbon
-Phantom Knight -EX Gem Lv4
-THE FUGITIVE -Spider Figurine (E)
-THE JUDGED -Chipped Dagger (E)
-THE NEGLECTED -Mirror Shard (E)
-Dark Dragon (E) -Derris Emblem (E)
-LAST BOSS (E) |
- Don't let what the characters say about the "final battle" scare you. You can go all the way up to right before the last boss fight and still backtrack.
- There's some treasures around the maze-y entrance area. Go in a mostly straight line to the upper-right to continue. Here's a map of the next area, because it seems a lot more confusing than it really is.
- When you're through this area, all your party members will leave for a while, but you'll get back whoever left earlier.
- Once you're in Welgaia, take the northern path. Find Raine/Genis/Colette by the mirrors.
- Sheena/Zelos/Kratos/Colette will be in front of the building you got the mana fragment from.
- Use the warp south of that to go find Presea/Regal/Colette.
- If you want to, examine the shiney on the mirror, the weird circle, and the puddle of blood for some easy mini-boss battles. They'll make the last boss easier. They're very easy, so I won't list out all the info for them.
- Blood: The Judged / Strength: Wind, Earth, Dark, Light / Drop: Defense Ring
- Spider: The Fugitive / Strength: Water, Lightning, Dark, Light / Drop: Magic Ring
- Mirror: The Neglected / Strength: Fire, Ice, Dark, Light / Drop: Attack Ring
- After all your characters are back with you, go to the Derris-Emblem symbol on the ground (middle of the city, upper-left path). Use the big warp.
- You'll now be in the castle Vinheim. Here is a map in case you want to get all the treasures. All you are required to do here is walk forward, talk to the dragon, say yes, beat the dragon (easy), and examine door, walk through, and see a scene.
- There will be a warp available to you after you see that post-door scene; use it to continue to the last boss. But between the scene and using the warp, you can now do these sidequests. (Refer to the sidequest guide for details.)
- Truth about Noishe, part 2
- Kratos ending only: scene at fountain in repaired Luin, scene talking to elf elder
- Coliseum (you could have done it before, but now you can get good weapons from the Advanced Singles class)
- Minigame - Red Light / Green Light (you could have done it before, but now you can get a weapon for beating it)
- Talk to Igaguri for an armor (if you've done the previous quests for him to be awake)
- Mana master uses Meteor Storm!!!
- Verius
- Maxwell
- Regal's Teacher
- Presea's Father's Friend
- Niflheim, the Underworld
- When you're ready, warp to the last boss. There will be two fights in a row.
- Boss:Mithos (Spoiler)
- HP: 55000 / TP: 5000
- Item Drop: None / Steal: None
- Strength: Light / Weakness: None
- Gald: / EXP:
- Suggested Level: 60+
- Suggested Strategy: Try to give everyone light defense, because most of his troublesome attacks are light elemental. He also has one that gives your characters some random status effects, so equipment to prevent that is very handy. I think the only ones I've seen are Poison, Curse, Paralyze, status down, and Weak, so don't bother with a Stone Charm and such.
- Boss:Mithos (Spoiler)
- HP: 60000 / TP: 1500
- Item Drop: EX Gem Max / Steal: EX Gem Max
- Strength: Physical, Light, Dark (see below) / Weakness: None
- Gald: 0 / EXP: 0
- Suggested Level: 60+
- Suggested Strategy: Even thought he looks big and fancy, he's actually much easier than the first fight because he staggers easily, doesn't move around a lot, and doesn't have the status effects. By default, he's strong against all nine elements (they all do half damage), but if you fought the mini-bosses in Welgaia, some of his strengths will be removed. The Neglected removes Fire and Ice, the Fugitive removes Water and Lightning, and the Judged removes Earth and Wind. If you didn't kill any of those, just accept the fact you'll only be doing half damage. Otherwise have everyone attack with the elements he's strong against.
- Congrats, you made it to the end~! Now, play it again.
