So who has seen or will see this movie. I really want to see this movie cause it's a horror movie! :3 But the fact that it's based on a true story makes it even more creepy. Hmm I really like to know more bout the story, they say it never has been explained ...

I saw it it was pretty cool. But the story about the House, made it feel like a joke type thing.

Okay here's the story. The a family moves to a new house. But the house was built on ancient indian burial grownds. A guy back then use to torture every indian in the basement of the house. A few years before the famliy moved in their another family lived their.

The brothre of the little girl was taken over by the spirit of the toruterer and he killed his family and ten himself. When the family moves in, the father starts going through the same stuff the brother did. And that's basically it.

Actually, the family who were the subjects of the 'True' story of the house later admitted that they had made it all up, along with the novelist who wrote their book for them. I think the murders actually took place in that house, but the family who moved in later? None of the ghostly happenings actually took place there.

Erm, okay, lemme try to explain it better.

If I remember right, there WAS an actual murder at the Amityville Horror House. HOWEVER, the story about the family that moved in AFTER the murders, and their problems with the house being haunted, was made up by them and a novelist who wrote the original book with them. I think the movies are based on the supposedly 'true' (really false) story in their book.

The movie doesn't look that scary. I found out that during the shooting of the movie the "supposedly" found a body in the lake. But its hard not to believe a house like that isnt haunted.

I saw the original.

It was lame.

I watched the sequel. Lame.

I didn't watch Amityville 3d, but I'm sure it was cheesy.

I hope this remake is not lame. After all, it's got one of my fav actors as the main guy. ^.^
