Anime Conventions!

I'm thinking I MAY be at Anime St Louis this next year. It's usually in April or something, if I remember correctly... Anyone planning on going?

So like nobody has posted here in awhile but I'm planning on going to a convention soon..like next year ish. I'm wondering how everyone gets their costumes? i heard about tailors and stuff but I can't think of a tailor shop or tailor in my town. I found this website (mooncostumes.com) and they offer cosplay outfits. Expensive tho..but I don't know if I should trust them.

That's a good question.
I go to stores to get clothing articles for my costumes and I also get fabric colors as well.
PS: I'm surprised too that this topic isn't more active, considering the amount of anime con-goers who are RPG fans.
What's the next con that you plan on going to and when next year is it? The next one I plan on going to is Sac Anime in Sacramento in January.

I went to AC3 November 3rd, though my costume was supposed to be Syaoran from Tsubasa my hair style and color was off, and most people thought I was Link from Legend of Zelda.

Though I made my own costume, when you know someone who is handy with a sewing machine and are on a budget it's not hard to do. Mostly it just takes patience.

Heh, Anime North is my convention. Place is freakin' cool.

It's almost here as well. I'm still pondering on who I should be. But my attention is mostly set on Roxas from Kingdom Hearts.

Totally going to ACEN this year in Chicago. It's all the rage in the Tales Forum Cosplayers thread. Very Happy

As for how I get my costumes, I make them myself. LOTS of hard work. If you look on cosplay forums, you could probably find a commissioner to make your costume for you.

I plan on attending Connecticon in Hartford, Connecticut in August and maybe Animenext in NYC in July (or whenever they're having it).

I've attended Connecticon every year since 8th grade =D Me and my friend go to go to Anime Boston ONCE, however, this year it fell over easter any my mom said no, and next year it fall on Memorial Day and my mom said no because of stupid marching band x_x...

At least I have Connecticon, it's right in the capital, not to far away from me =D
