Oh! I'm going cosplaying this Summer for the first time ever! I'm so excited! I've never been to anything like this before..!!

I'm going to be Alice(Shadow Hearts). Got to show appreciation for the series I love most by going as one of their characters. Tee-hee! My Mom is almost done making the costume for me! It looks identical! It's so great! All I need is the ribbon for my hair and the shoes!! Yay! ^_^

No costume, because I don't know anyone in my family who's good at sewing. Plus it's something you have to plans months in advance (If you want your costume to be decent anyway).
I can only come on Sunday because I have to be at my cousin's birthday party, and have to help out with my parent's yard sale. T_T

My sisters and I are going to Anime Expo. It's my first time and I don't really know what to expect but i'm sure it will be fun.
I'm actually quite lucky, I used to live in the middle of a desert where the only anime related things I knew of were via the internet. California is rather convenient in providing such things. Smile

It's also quite interesting on how I found out about AE. I was at Disneyland and wearing a Cowboy Bebop t-shirt, one of the salesperson commented on it, we talked for about 20 minutes, and ultimately, she told me about it.
So.. that was a fun experience, to say the least.

There's an Con in Edmonton, Alberta coming up on July 7th. Doubt i'll be going to it, though. >_>

I'm going to CNAnime (which I started a thread for, but nobody posted in it...<<) in early September. I'm going for finishing my Lloyd by August 15th, my 16th birthday, but kind of doubt that's happening, somehow. >_> I'm trying, anyway...

Might I see any Tales forumers there perchance? (I'll be coming with my friend Robyn as possibly-winged Colette.)

Last time I almost went to one (because of a friend) but, my parents thought I 'lied' or something and made me not go...at the last minute too. I get depressed every time when I see the words "Anime Convention" n_n;

No one even considered Fanime... but then again, that maybe for the better. I'll try to go, so it would be nice to meet some forum people there. For those who have no idea what Fanime is, it's a convention center stationed in the bay area (San Jose, California I think this time) whose prestige is... pretty much completely shadowed by Anime Expo >_>;;. Anyway, I can't go to Anime Expo. It's waaay tooo faaaar even though I'm in the state.

The anime club at our school is having a "JOIN OUR CLUB" convention thing where we're having pocky eating contests, costplay, geisha fan dances, samurai training and a bunch of other cool stuff to show people just how cool anime is XD

What have you guys done in the past that would make this a sucess, or tips or anything?

Ohayocon and Ikasucon are coming up for people around Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. I'm skipping Ohayocan (which is next month) and going to Ikasucon in Ft. Wayne Indiana in August.
