Anime Conventions!

...I'd go to Anime North, buuuuut...

1) Tis still a tad far. Like, five hours by car. :-\ *is thinking: Well, at least it's closer to here than to Moose Jaw....*
2) :-\ Um, how much would such a trip cost?

Anime Next... About an hour drive for me... ^_^; If ShoujoCon is where it used to be... It's a 15 minutes drive... ._. But no ShoujoCon... *sniffle* But I'm taking a bus/train up to NYC then down... So it would take me about an hour and half instead... :x But I'll not get lost. T______T;;

Otakon on the other hand... Maybe a good 5 to 6 hours drive? MD is quite a way to go for me... T_T;

I went to Katsucon earlier this year, and hopefully I'll be going to AMA as Sheena (with a Lloyd, Colette, Genis, Raine, Zelos, Presea, Regal, Kratos, Yuan, Mithos AND Martel. Hopefully we'll get a Noishe too). I'll definitely be going to Anime USA in the fall as Zelos. Very Happy

Yeah, I'm a bit of a cosplay addict too... XD;;

I'll be at Anime Central in May ^^ Also, possibly Wizard World when it's in Chicago... (a smaller one, that's not really anime but more american comic books and fantasy, but still fun)
I wish I could go to the other ones, but I'm either busy or not able to go that far... (anywhere further than the states around Illinois is a no-no, unfortunately)

I may get to go to Anime North eventually, but not this year. Probably going by plane, considering it means my father won't be driving, XD. I live at least 5 hours away, and my father has frequent business trips to Ontario, so who knows, maybe he'll have enough Airmiles/AeroPlan points for a free ticket or two. But it's gonna be a hrad job convincing my parents. Of course, if I can get my cousin interested... They can't stop two teens hell-bent on going to an anime convention... *schemes onwards*
