If they actually make a Tales of Justice, I'll laugh. Then all they'll need to make is a Tales of Freedom(ia) and a Tales of Providencia and we'll be all set.
For those who don't get it: Freedom, Justice, Providence, Destiny, and Legend make up ZAFT's nuclear / deuterion-nuclear series in Gundam SEED.
It gets better when you realize Destiny is piloted by a guy with the same Japanese VA as Senel in Legendia, obsesses over a woman named "Stella," and his sidekick pilots Legend. _________________ SOON.

Is Tales of the Abyss scheduled to be released this December in Japan? It's probably old news, but I was just wondering...
Wow, that's really soon to come right after Legendia... |

It's apparently been in the works for a while. Team Symphonia worked on this while another team did Legendia. It's scheduled to be launched December 15th, exactly 10 years since the release of Phantasia a long time ago in a console far far away. _________________

Tales of the Tempest >_>
It will be stupid if that name is used for another DS game. _________________ Any spelling or grammar correction will be really appreciated. |

The unnamed thing for DS is called Tales of Tempest. Heh.
There are some screenshots up on Tales Channel. Ehh...I hate to say it but the graphics look kinda bad, in my opinion... maybe it's DS' engine? The character sprites look fine but everything else... what the?? _________________

lmao colbert report, he'd love it!
I noticed that in Tales of Doom Sign also Drake. Kind of how Capcom tried to disguise Resident Evil:Deadly Silence.
I really hope Namco isn't remaking ToD, and ToD2j for PSP, I will really be shafted then. I own a DS if that wasn't clear.
If we get ToS2 for Revolution, I will go nuts!
I wanna play all the games though, I really hope Namco releases all of the Japanese Ps2 Tales games to us. That way I can keep my mind busy while I search for the rare ToD1 & 2. _________________

Tales Announcement Coming
Namco Bandai promising new announcement later this month.
by Anoop Gantayat
June 13, 2006 - Tales fans, mark your calendars for June 21st. In addition to being the longest day of the year, it's also the day after a big announcement will be made regarding the Tales series.
Bandai Namco Games, the Japanese half of Namco Bandai Games, announced today via its Tales Channel site that Tales fans can expect an announcement regarding the RPG series on 6/20. "On 6/20/2006, you will be surprised!" proclaims the site, suggesting that on 6/20/2006, we will be surprised. Check out the Japanese site for yourself.
We're expecting anime-style characters, one of whom is an orphan, first story details, possibly involving beast and human clans, and the mention of a famous character designer. We expect details on the new Linear Battle System to be kept in the dark, to be revealed on the pages of Famitsu some time in the near future. We also expect a tie up with a big Japanese vocal group, although this won't be unveiled until a few months before release.
Check back on the 20th for more. _________________

I doubt they'd make a ToS2. It is generally agreed upon that ToP takes places about 4000 years after ToS, and the Nakkiri Dungeon series fills the gap. Pity that the nakkiri dungeon series (especially ND3) will probably never offically set foot on north american store shelves.
I think they should go through all the old games that sold well in the past and re-make them to the newer consoles. they already did wonders with Tales of Phantasia with the PSX Remake |
