If you're playing the Super Famicom version, move towards the edge of the screen using the L button or the R button; in the PlayStation and Game Boy Advance versions, just move towards the edge of the screen...

Has anyone taken a shot at redoing DeJap's translation to be more accurate to the original?

considering how large the game is, I seriously doubt it. Creating a patch is a lot of work and very time-consuming.

No one can, legally. It's their patch, and their translation. Plus, even though Dejap is dead, and are giving out most of their projects to other people, they plan on keeping Phantasia to themselves because it was a big hit.

Are they allowed to start from scratch though? I know there are sometimes multiple fansub groups for one series of anime.

Yeah, that's fine. But if you're going to start all over from scratch, you might as well do one of the versions that aren't nearly a decade old. And there are people working on that. :p

Would you happen to be one of those people? ^^; (I saw you in the credits on the ToP OAV fansub. I was like "Hey I know her!")

Technically speaking, nope. I've helped PP on ToP-OVA, but not ToP-PSX. I've helped Kajitani Eizan on ND2, but not ToP-GBA. If I weren't working on so many millions of other things, I'd probably say, "Hey, Kaji, dump me a ToP script." But too too busy. x_X
