I think I need to correct a couple statements you made.
Q:What does DS stand for?
A:Dual Screen OR Developer's System (See Press Conference)
Q: I have to pay to go online?
A:No, it's like a link cable but wireless, it dosen't have its own server and stuff so it'll be free.
Are you sure about that? A wireless router still connects to the internet and you'd need an Internet Service Provider to do that, unless Nintendo's going to start its own ISP. And a WiFi router wouldn't be very helpful for those with Dialup. _________________

| Eh, so I'm going to have to shell out $100 for a wireless router? ^^0 I might have to play my DS offline for a while. (The Wi-Fi isn't much of a problem for me, I have DSL.) |

You probably could go with Wi-Fi LAN. _________________

LFG:I think it sound more better as Dual Screen, I mean Animal Crossing Developer System dosen't sound right. Oh and I'm not sure about the pay but lots of people said it's likely gonna be for free.
CP:Some costs about $30-$50 but the $100 are the more better. |

As for the wireless networking thing... I hear there wont be a server, but there will (supposedly) be a built-in program that identifies other DS's IPs. I suppose once you identify who you wish to play with you chat with them (via the IM function), and then decide upon the game you wish to play... and then start playing. Simple enough.
And no; I hear it doesn't require a server of any kind. It is all done via a built-in program in the DS. Hope that clarifies some things. _________________

So the NDS will have its own IM function for the console or is it some feature that developers will have to add to the NDS when developing their games? That sounds a bit too simple. _________________

| PictoChat looks like an IM program. Of course, you could only IM with someone playing PictoChat, and only 16 people at once (though 16 is a lot for some). ^^0 Uhh... but I think a built-in IM function would be nifty. |
