What games are you looking forward to seeing stuff from at this year's E3? I'm going to be watching Tales of Symphonia (of course), Wind Waker 2, Paper Mario 2, and watching closely for a Mother 3 announcement if they decide to unveil it here. I'm also curious to see Nintendo's DS portable system. _________________

The two main ones I'm really interested about is TOS and WW2. I'm also interested to see how Metriod Prime 2: Echoes and Pikman 2 come out...although I wasn't a huge fan of either of those games. (They were good games! I just don't like those preticular genres as well.)
I've heard rumors about a Golden Sun game and an Animal Crossing one, but I dunno if they're true or not. Preticularly Golden Sun.
And I'm interested in the new consoles and handhelds, preticularly the Nintendo systems. |

Hmmm... I wonder if they'll mention anything about a Baten Kaitos localization. (Unless they already have, and I'm just trapped under a rock or in a bubble or something ) |

If I'm remembering right, last thing I heard it hasn't been announce for the USA yet. (It'd better...I need RPGs!!) |

Hm, lets see. I am anticipating:
Tales of Symphonia (DUH!)
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Killer 7
Resident Evil 4
Paper Mario 2
Baten Kaitos

I was wondering about that too. I recently got the June issue of GMR magazine, and in it, they have an E3 Highlights thing. They tell about the games that all of the big-name developers will be showing. And for Namco, it said this (exact words by the way):
...as will the GameCube RPG Tales of Symphonia. RPG fans will also be treated to a look at the card-based Baten Kaitos...
So, my guess is that they will announce the BK localization at E3, and a solid release date. And I will be hoping they do! _________________

*dances for joy* Yeah, if they don't show Baten Kaitos at E3 the chances of it getting localized might drop. |

I think the probability of Batan Kaitos getting localized will depend on the amount of sales that ToS receives. After all if Namco realizes that they'll get no payoff in localized RPGs for the Gamecube then they'll be more reluctant to localize it (that is if Nintendo doesn't pressure them to ^-^)
Personally I've never really gotten into Batan Kaitos just because of the fact that it's a card RPG (which kinda turns me off) *shudders at memory of playing Lost Kingdoms II* but I might buy it if it turns out to have a really intriguing plot |

There's a really good English trailer for Baten Kaitos at cube.ign.com. I was surpised how good it looked and sounded. I don't know anything about the game, though... but the trailer has me very interested. Good voice acting and suprisingly good lip synching, too. _________________ It is easier to stay out than get out.

There are a lot of Card RPGs nowadays... I don't like card RPGs that work like the Pokémon Trading Game, like Yu-Gi-Oh. I thought Lost Kingdoms was fun, because it was completely realtime. (I haven't played Phantasy Star Online III: CARD Revolution.) But Baten Kaitos is different from all of those, it plays something like poker. |
