Let's discuss what MelFes is going to be

Not sure to post it here or on the News and Updates (since it's discussed there too), but anyway here's my guess:
-It's not going to be called Tales of MelFes;
-It's got graphics similiar to ToS so maybe it's going to be for GCN too?(I heard recently that Nintendo is in a very good relationship with Namco --- Mario Baseball is developed by them)
-Is related to Tales of Eternia?

There has actually not been a single reliable source calling it Tales of Melfes, thus no reason we should think that's its real name. But I think you're right that Project MelFes is not its real name either.

The news about it being for PSP is a little fuzzy. (The site that the info originates from doesn't seem to have it up anymore.) Isn't the screen diminsions difference from the PSP?

If it isn't for a Sony system... then why release the trailer with Tales of Rebirth which is on the PS2. It'd be pretty odd giving people a preview of a game they might not have the hardware to play on.

Anyway... I think those dancing things at the very end of the trailer must have some importance to the story.

The movie might just be displaying the cut-scene graphics. Although I guess they could be the in-game ones also, it just looks more like a movie made for the trailer, not to sport the actual graphics. Kind of like the Legend of Zelda GC trailer. I don't really think it is going to be on PSP. Until the name and console is decided, not much can be believed anyway >.>;.

If it's on the PS2 then it might not come....especially if Namco uses it's 2-D battle system, even if they use the 3-Line thing like Rebirth it's still considered 2-D and I doubt Namco would pay the royalties to buy off one of SCEA's employee's

A better chance to be released on GC? Because most Tales games that have the character designer of Kosuke Fujishima (except the ToP remake and ToS port) are for Nintendo systems.
