EFREET AND SYLPH (2)

Code:
Monsters:         Items/Treasure:          Misc:
-Efreet (E)       -Opal (E)                -SKILL: S.Seal: Fire (Sheena) (E)
-Selphie (E)      -Garnet (E)              -SKILL: Summon: Fire (Sheena) (E)
-Yutis (E)                                 -SKILL: S.Seal: Wind (Sheena) (E)
-Fairess (E)                               -SKILL: Summon: Wind (Sheena) (E)

  • If you haven't gotten them yet, do so now. They are in Triet Ruins and Balacruf Mausoleum.

  • Boss: Efreet
    • HP: 30000/ TP: 850
    • Item Drop: Attack Symbol / Steal: None
    • Strength: Fire / Weakness: None
    • Gald: 945 / EXP: 2430
    • Suggested Level: 41~44
    • Suggested Strategy: Watch out for Efreet's Flame of Destruction attack. His spells, (Eruption, Explosion, Raging Mist), are easy enough to dodge, and Flame Burst doesn't do much damage. Remember that there are some items (Lid Sheild, Kitchen Mitten) that reduce Fire damage. Raine is good for healing.

    Boss: Sephie
    • HP: 13000 / TP: 220
    • Item Drop: Savory / Steal: None
    • Strength: Wind / Weakness: None

    • Yutis
    • HP: 12000 / TP: 80
    • Drop: Sage / Steal: None
    • Strength: Wind / Weakness: None

    • Fairess
    • HP: 10000 / TP: 250
    • Drop: Saffron / Steal: None
    • Strength: Wind / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 895 / EXP: 2340
    • Suggested Level: 41~44
    • Suggested Strategy: Sylph is kind of hard if you aren't a high level. Try to summon something on them. Don't use a mage besides Raine because they're good at stopping spells. Set all the party members to "Attack Same" so you can gang up on one of them at a time. Take Yutis out first to keep Raine safe.

  • Now it's time to get Shadow.

Dungeon: TEMPLE OF DARKNESS - MELTOKIO (3)

Code:
Monsters:          Items/Treasure:      Misc:
-Duelist (E)       -Blue Candle (E)     -SKILL: T.Seal: Darkness (Sheena) (E)
-Sorceress (E)     -EX Gem Lv2          -SKILL: Summon: Darkness (Sheena) (E)
-Pharaoh Knight    -Headband
-Manticore         -Shadow Dancer
-Coffinmaster      -EX Gem Lv3
-Druid             -EX Gem Lv2
-SHADOW (E)        -EX Gem lv4
                   -Amethyst (E)

  • Go to the Temple of Darkness at the south end of the Meltokio continent.

  • Enter Meltokio through the sewers. There will be a scene with Kratos in front of the inn on your way to the elemental reserch lab.

  • Go to the coliseum and talk to the receptionist. Pick a character to fight. Note that Zelos will be free, Presea will cost 5000 Gald, and everyone else will cost 10000 Gald.
    • Affection:
      Lloyd: Kratos +3, others+1
      Other character: that person +3

  • After the fight, go to the door on the right side and talk to Kate.

  • After the scenes, return to the Temple of Darkness.

  • There's an item to the far left from the entrance.

  • Watch the scene with the mini-Shadow. Leave him here for now and go through the door to the right. It took me a while to notice this door the first time so here is a picture to make sure you don't have the same problem.

  • Find this strange spot along the stairs: (Whoever pops up to talk to you here is the person with the highest affection.)

  • Change your ring and pull on the the red-eyed block (thing Lloyd shoots). Now you can go back out.

  • There's a Headband hidden in the stairs. Go back through the door at the top of the stairs.

  • Step-by-step instructions for each mini-Shadow follow. You need to take them down to the save point and watch the game make a big fuss about how they're going stand next to the save point (pausing as they move), or else they'll go back to their original location. Note that whenever you get in a battle, you will have to step on the mini-Shadows again to get them to keep following you.
    • #1 and #2: Get the first mini-Shadow, put out the lights with the Sorcerer's Ring, and lead it to the left. Collect the second one in front of the green-eyed block. Shoot and pull on the green-eyed block. Go down the stairs that were just cleared by the green-eyed block and go down this ramp to the right:

    • #3: Go down the stairs to the right and return to the ring-change room. Push the red block in and push in this cyan-eyed block:

The block holding the mini-Shadow will fall. Push the block to the upper-right so that the mini-Shadow can get off it. Lead it down the ramp like before.

    • #4: Go up the ramp and find the blue-eyed block below the stairs. Push it into the wall. Go back down the ramp and exit this room by the stairs to the lower right. Go up the big stairs and the blue-eyed block will have formed a bridge to the next mini-Shadow (and a Kendama). Once the mini-Shadow has cross the bridge, return to the ring changer room and pull out the red-eyed block. Then finish taking this mini-Shadow down the same way as #1/#2.
    • #5: Go to the ring change room and pull the red-eyed block out. Return to the other red-eyed block near the entrance and push it farther into the wall. Now go to the RIGHT, down the stairs, and up the ramp. Near where mini-Shadow #3 and its block were, there is a path leading to mini-Shadow #5, hanging out above the ring changer. Lead it to the save point.

  • Now that all the mini-Shadows are together, make sure they're all following you and head down the ramp in the far right corner of this platform.

  • You're now in an evil maze part. It's reallyreallyreally annoying to lose a mini-Shadow down here so here's some tips to keep them:
    • Move slowly. As in, walk. If you're using Lloyd's Personal EX Skill, turn it off, unless you're patient enough to walk with it on.
    • Avoid battles. Use Sheena's Personal EX Skill and Holy Bottles. Colette's Personal might be handy too.
    • If you do get in a battle, search the area carefully afterward to reclaim all the mini-Shadows right away.
    • When you're about to approach an enemy, stop while you're still out of its chase range and make sure all the mini-Shadows are close to you so that' they'll be easier to collect if the enemy gets you.
    • Watch the mini-Shadows carefully when you turn corners.

  • Boss: Shadow
    • HP: 30000 / TP: 800
    • Item Drop: Dark Seal / Steal: None
    • Strength: Dark / Weakness: None
    • Gald: 4500 / EXP: 1520
    • Suggested Level: 42~45
    • Suggested Strategy: Mostly just have three or more fighters to beat on him. Dodge Bloody Lance and just endure Dark Sphere and Dark Shower.

  • Now you have to walk back out!!!

LUNA AND ASKA

Code:
Monsters:   Items/Treasure:               Misc:
-ASKA (E)   -Linkite Nut (E)              -SKILL: S.Seal: Light (Sheena) (E)
-LUNA (E)   -Exsphere Shard (E)           -SKILL: Summon: Light (Sheena) (E)
-Linkite Ocarina (E)          -Title: Traitor (Kratos) (E)
            -Topaz (E)

  • Last chance for the following events:
    • Anything you want to do in Palmacosta
    • Anything you want to do in Balacruf Mausoleum, Thoda Geyser, or Triet Ruins, do it now.
    • Second Sword Dancer.

  • If you're missing any summon spirits, you should find them now. You need Undine, Efreet, Sylph, Gnome, Volt, Celsius, and Shadow.

  • If you haven't already gotten an Exsphere Shard from either Dirk or Tabatha, get it now.

  • When you're ready to continue, find Nova's Caravan near Hakonesia Peak (south side). I've heard some people say he's in the Triet region at this point too, but....

  • After you're done talking to Nova's family about Aska, fly to an area encircled by mountains north of Ossa Trail.

  • Examine the Linkite Tree. You should meet Aska, who will agree to go to Luna.

  • Go meet Luna in the Tower of Mana.

  • Boss: Luna
    • HP: 18000 / TP: 720
    • Item Drop: Moonstone / Steal: None
    • Strength: Light / Weakness: None

    • Aska
    • HP: 19650 / TP: 600
    • Drop: Rare Pellets / Steal: None
    • Strength: Water, Wind, Fire, Earth, Lightning, Ice, Light, Dark / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 7600 / EXP: 6730
    • Suggested Level: 45~50
    • Suggested Strategy: Definately don't use Light, but avoid using any other elements either, at least until Aska's down. Use at least three fighters and have everyone attacking with Physical. Set everyone to "Attack Same" until you take out one of them.

  • After all the scenes, you'll be at Iselia Ranch.

Dungeon: ISELIA HUMAN RANCH (2)

Code:
Monsters:            Items/Treasure:               Misc:
-Whip Master (E)     -Lovely Mittens
-Spearman (E)        -Rune Staff
-Evil Sorcerer (E)   -Ether Sword
-Bowman              -Muramasa
-Raybit              -Solar Spinner
-FORCYSTUS (E)       -Cor Leonis
-EXBONE (E)          -Aqua Greaves
                     -Rune Robe
                     -Rune Shield
                     -Rune Mail
                     -Rune Cloak
                     -Rune Circlet
                     -War Hammer
                     -Rune Guard
                     -Hairpin
                     -Rune Gauntlet
                     -Rune Helm

  • Kratos will temporarily rejoin, and Sheena will be gone.

  • After Kratos opens the gate, go down the stairs. Change your ring.

  • Dodge the moving red columns.

  • The group will split up. Those people on the rescue team don't have to do anything, so don't worry if they're all weak or whatever. The reactor team (including Lloyd) will fight a hard boss, so you might want Raine.
    • Affection:
Whoever you pick +1 (Kratos is +2)

  • There's a treasure (Lovely Mittens) hidden to the right of the computer. You can rest and buy items in this room.

  • Light the things on either side of the door to the left using your ring and go that way. Your party will split up the way you decided earlier.

  • This place is big, maze-y, and filled with nice treasures (all new equipment). All you have to do is see the scene with the captives then go to the warp to the boss fight, so instead of giving you directions to all the treasures, I'll just give you a map:

  • Go to the boss when you're ready.

  • Boss: Forcystus
    • HP: 20000 / TP: 400
    • Item Drop: Faerie Ring / Steal: None
    • Strength: Wind / Weakness: None

    • Exbone x2
    • HP: 6000 / TP:
    • Drop: None / Steal: None
    • Strength: None / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 5800 / EXP: 7100
    • Suggested Level: 46~52
    • Suggested Strategy: He's hard! I don't have many tips except to remind you to use Wind-resistant items. Magic is pretty useful against him, so have someone (preferably Colette, but Genis is good too) who is dedicated to using offensive spells in the fight. Set them to Attack Far while you control a fighter who deals with the Exbones.

  • It's quickest to use the elevator on your way out.

  • You get more scenes and some nice FMVs outside. Then you're at the disk swap.

ISELIA (4) - DIRK'S HOUSE (2)

  • Go toward the school for a scene. Get Raine back in front of her and Genis's house, and meet Colette and Kratos at the southern exit of the village.

  • At Dirk's house, you'll have a longer, mushier conversation with whoever has the highest Affection for Lloyd.

  • It's time to go back to Altessa's house.

Researching Illness: ALTESSA'S HOUSE (4) - SYBAK (3) - MELTOKIO (4)

Code:
Monsters:        Items/Treasure:        Misc:
-King's Letter (E)     -TITLE: Spiritua Reborn (Colette) (E)

  • Stop by Altessa's house for a scene.

  • Now go to Sybak. Enter the library (not the academy).
    • Affection:
      I trust Kratos. Colette +2, Genis +2, Raine +2, Sheena +1, Kratos +3, Zelos +1, Presea +1, Regal +1
      There is a possibility. Colette +1, Genis +1, Raine +1, Sheena +2, Kratos +1, Zelos +2, Presea +2, Regal +2

  • Go to Meltokio through the sewers. There will be a scene, so it will seem weird if you quick jump. :p

  • Go to the cathedral. Enter the door in the far left corner. Scene. (Heh, they've stopped bothering with the Cardinal Knight fights.)

  • Go out of the bedroom and to the right, then into the fancy doors on the second floor.

  • After the cheesiest instance of tripping in the entire game, talk to Princess Hilda on your way out.

  • You can now enter and leave Meltokio freely. Here are some new sidequests:
    • Kratos's Secret Mission (Part 3)
    • Raine's mother
    • Raine Colapses
    • Presea and Exspheres
    • Pink Pearl Ring (Part 2)

  • You can get the Mana Leaf Herb or Zircon first, doesn't matter. But you must get them both before going to get the Mana Fragment.

Getting Mana Leaf Herb: YMIR FOREST - HEIMDALL (1)

Code:
Monsters:            Items/Treasure:               Misc:
-Boar                -Solar Guard                  -RECIPE: Cream Stew
-Baby Boar           -Gladius
-Storm Claw          -Crystal Shell
-Dodo                -Resist Ring.
-Orc Rot             -Maid's Headband
-Killer Bee          -Blue Seed (E)
-White Seed (E)
                     -Ymir Fruit (E)
                     -Metal Sphere (E)
                     -Elf Elder's Staff (E)

  • OPTIONAL: If you want to do the Kratos Secret Mission sidequest, part 3, do it now at Meltokio.

  • You have to enter from the southwest side.

  • Go forward and change your ring. Jump on the tree stump with the A button and use the new ring. After the scene, grab the treasure behind the tree and take the path to the right (the wooden path closer to the entrance, not up the tree branch).

  • You'll see a treasure (Solar Guard) that you need to hit with a boar using a ring. Straight upward from (north of) that, you'll see a tree with another treasure (Gladius) hidden behind it.

  • Go left along the path a little before the hidden Gladius and go up. Turn left when you can and hit the boulder with a boar.

  • Go back, go up a little, and turn right. Keep going more or less to the right until you get to a scene at a tree. Use a boar to knock down the Blue Seed.

  • Return to the island with the ring changer machine and note the little garden to the left. Examine it to plant the Blue Seed. Now you can jump on lilypads and summon stupid fish!

  • Go along the left path and up the tree branch so that you are on the top level. Follow the path until you can get back down, and you will find a blue lilypad to the left. Jump on it and use the ring. A fish will push a treasure box.

  • Go right (not back the way you came) and around until you get to the island with the save point. Go to the left side to get the White Seed from the treasure the fish brought. (Get the treasure, Maid Cap, behind the tree too.) You can talk to the little elf boy if you want.

  • Go back to the garden near the ring changer to plant the white seed and get a white flower.

  • Go to the flower you see blooming. Jump on the branch and call a bird to carry you. Drop the box in the water use the bird to return.

  • Take the path left of the entrance and head back in the direction of the elf boy. But go this way instead:

  • Keep going to the right, past the fish, until you see another white flower. Use it, and you'll be to the left of that big boulder. Hit it with a boar, and it should break. (If it doesn't, you forgot to hit it from the other side, so go do that next.)

  • Go to the the right from the white flower after riding the bird back. Go down to the lower level when you get the chance. (Refer to the picture below. I was stuck at this point for a while because I didn't know you could walk down that branch. ;_;) Go right and use a boar on the tree to make the Ymir Fruit fall. (If you mess up and the fruit is lost, get a new one from the same tree.)

  • Now it's time to lead the fish. Both the butterflies and the letters marked on the map above will help you lead the fish properly.
    • Go back up the branch to the right, and then down (south). Get off the branch and go up (north). Use a boar on Pink Flower A and a bug will fall to distact the big fish.
    • Go to Blue Flower B, south of the Ymir ruit. Use the little fish. It should swim past the big fish safely.
    • Use a boar on Pink Flower C, left of the tree the fruit is from. Bugs will fall to move the fruit.
    • Go to Blue Flower D, south of the previous flower. Use the fish.
    • Go to Blue Flower E, to the left and near the big fish. You need to call your fish when the big fish that's swimming around is mostly hidden behind the tree. (Don't worry about the immobile fish.) The little fish should push the fruit through where the boulder used to be.

    • Go to Blue Flower F, to the left of the ring changer. The fish will push the fruit more. Go to the lily pad closer to the ring changer to retrive it.

  • Take it to the elf boy. You'll get a Metal Sphere and access to Heimdall.

  • Once in Heimdall, go find the elder and get his staff.

  • OPTIONAL: Name the dogs by going under the inn and under the elder's house.

  • OPTIONAL: Wonder Chef in the elder's bedroom.

  • OPTIONAL: Talk to the two kids near the entrance of town for info about Noishe.

Getting Mana Leaf Herb: LATHEON GORGE

Monsters:            Items/Treasure:               Misc:
-Sheldra             -Rare Pellets                 -RECIPE: Pescatore
-Death Seeker        -EX Gem Lv4
-Poison Lily         -Diablos
-Crush Tortoise      -EX Gem Lv4
-Sea Dragon          -Flare Greaves
-Fake                -Elixer (Fake)
-PLANTIX (E)         -Draupnir
                     -EX Gem Lv3
                     -EX Gem Lv3
                     -Star Cap
                     -Rare Shield
                     -Toroid
                     -Battle Pick
                     -Mana Leaf Herb (E)

  • Latheon Gorge is south-ish of Heimdall.

  • Here's a map to help you.

AREA 1
  • Change your ring, get the two nearby tresures, and go up to the flower on the right. Let it blow you over to the next flower. Go upward to get Kirima and feed one to the flower.

  • Use this flower to go to the southernmost one. Now go right and across the bridge.

AREA 2
  • There's a Devil's Arm in this area. Take the southern ramp and go right and around to bring give a Kirima to the wilted flower. Go to the other flower you just passed and use its wind.

  • After landing, go up and get Amango. Go up more.
AREA 3
  • Continue in that direction until you see a wilted flower in need of a Kirima.

  • Use the big funny-looking flower on the low ground to the left to take you to an island and get items.

  • After getting back to Area 3, go up the ramp on the right. Give Kirima to the top flower and Amango to the bottom one. Let the top one take you to the left. You should land on the cliff to the north.

  • Go up the ramp to the left and give a Kirima to the flower up there. Go to the flower you just passed to get back. Use the wind of the big purple flower to go left to a new area.

AREA 4
  • Even though the map says it should be wilted, use the flower on the lower-right to go to the upper-left cliff.

  • Use an Amango on the topmost of the two flowers. Use the other flower to go to the lower-left cliff.

  • Walk down the ramp and NOW use an Amango on the lower-right flower.

  • Use the wind of the living flower on the lower-left cliff to go to the upper-right cliff and continue onward. Use a Kirima on the flower you pass and ride the wind of the one up the ramp to the left.

AREA 5 (Cliffs)

  • Once you're on a ledge, use the flower to float left. Go up the ramp and use the purple flower to go right.

  • Use the next flower to continue right, of course. There's a flower you were supposed to revive in Area 2 that should send you upward.

  • Revive the wilted flower on the next ledge and use the other one to go left.

  • You'll be on a ledge with a cave entrance. Revive the flower outside before entering.

  • The treasure inside is a Fake (w/ Elixer)

  • You can go up the ramps for a treasure (Draupnir). Go left to continue.

  • Outside the cave, revive the plant with a Kirima and use to to float to the right. Continue to the right with the purple flower. If you revived the flower outside Cave Entrance A, you should be blown upward.

  • Continue right with this flower. You will end up on a larger ledge finally. Use a Kirima on the nearby wilted flower.

AREA 6

  • In the next area, revive the two flowers and have the rightmost one float you over the river. A rock will devide the waterfall.

  • You must talk to the man in the house to continue.

  • OPTIONAL: The rabbit(?) in the closet behind him is a Wonder Chef.

  • Boss: Plantix
    • HP: 36000 / TP: 250
    • Item Drop: Blue Sephira / Steal: None
    • Strength: Earth / Weakness: Fire
    • Gald: 1250 / EXP: 7500
    • Suggested Level: 51~55
    • Suggested Strategy: Use Zelos (Flame Dagger), Regal (Flare Greaves), and Presea (Garnet) with her Earth-elemental skilled turned off and just beat on him.

  • Talk to the storyteller again after the fight. After the big scene, you'll be back at the entrance.
  • OPTIONAL: The third part of the Assassin's Ring sidequest is now available.

SE ABBEY - TOWER OF SALVATION (2) [Getting Mana Fragment]

Code:
Monsters:            Items/Treasure:               Misc:

  • Southeast Abbey is where its name would suggest. Go upstairs and talk to Seles. If the guards don't let you in, it's because you forgot one of the other ingredients for the cure. Like the characters said, the Mana Fragment should be last. Scroll up to see what you're missing.

  • OPTIONAL: If you want to do the Assassin's Ring sidequest, you must do it now, before entering the Tower of Salvation.

  • Now that Zelos has his Cruxis Crystal, you can go to the Tower of Salvation. You should have no trouble finding it. Walk into it.

    Boss: Kratos(spoiler)

    • HP: 25000 / TP: 980
    • Item Drop: EX Gem Lv4; Energy Tablets / Steal: None
    • Strength: Thunder, Light / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 4800 / EXP: 7600
    • Suggested Level: [N/A]
    • Suggested Strategy: Again, you don't have to beat him, but he's easier than the first time. I just had one fighter, equipped with good defense stuff (especially for lightning), stand in front of him and guard to distract him while two others beat on him and Raine healed.

WELGAIA (1)

Code:
Monsters:            Items/Treasure:               Misc:
(none)               -Apocalypse
                     -Mana Fragment (E)

  • After escaping from jail, use the warp to the left. Have Colette move the boxes.
  • Once you're wandering Welgaia freely, you can go to the big building in front of you, where there is a Devil's Arm in a first floor room. (If you haven't started the Devil's Arms quest, don't worry. You can come back to this city.) There's nothing in the rest of the building except NPCs to speak to.
  • Go in the building on the right and talk to the armored angel within for a Mana Fragment.
  • Outside, go up the conveyor belt tunnel on the left. You can go look at the giant warp if you want. Go to the right.
  • You can buy stuff and rest in this area, but you need to examine the computer at the far end and read its info to continue.
  • After doing that, exit with the warp south of that.
  • Now you have to WALK all the way down the Tower of Salvation. Very Happy

TOWER OF SALVATION: WELGAIA ESCAPE ROUTE

Code:
Monsters:            Items/Treasure:               Misc:
-Hammer Knuckle      -EX Gem Lv3                   (none)
-Murder              -EX Gem Lv3
-Perfect Murder      -Holy Robe
-Cybit               -Nagazuki
-YGGDRASILL (E)      -Laser Blade
                     -Ex Gem Lv4
                     -Rare Guard
                     -Dragon Fang
                     -Energy Tablets
                     -Holy Circlet
                     -Ex Gem Lv2
                     -Elevator Key (E)

  • Every enemy here except the Cybits have some rare customization materials to steal. You won't be able to get back in this area after you leave, so don't miss any treasures. Treasures look like this, by the way:
  • Here's a map. Sorry about the unconnected hallways; just follow the letters.

  • After going down down the stairs, go left until you can go down. Turn right when you can and go in the door. You're now in an annoying slide puzzle. The hardest part about this is realizing where the door is so you know where the heck you're supposed to be going! Look for the orange lights along the wall. Here's a map:

  • Once you're through, examine the red thing to disengage the Red Gate Lock, which opens the... green... gates [insert sweatdrop here].
  • Go back through the Anti-Gravity Room. Once you're in a normal room again, you can go down for a Rare Guard.
  • Go back up, left, up, and right so that you're back near the entrance. Now go up and left all the way to the left (there are nice treasures along the way). Go up and you will see the switch to get rid of the blue gates.
  • Go back to the Anti-Gravity Area. You'll now take a different route. Use the lift marked "G". Then in door "H".

  • There's Energy Tablets in this hallway. Go around to take the other exit back into the Anti-Gravity Area.

  • Now you can get the Elevator Key (and a Holy Circlet). It looks less fancy than some of the other useless decorations in this place, so don't miss it.
  • Now go back out ad use the elevator. From the exit of the Anti-Gravity Area, the elevator is left, up, right (near the entrance), up, right.
  • Follow the path from the elevator to warp back to the Final Seal.
  • Boss: Yggdrasill
You can't win, but you can't lose either. You need to survive until the battle cuts off automatically.

ALTESSA's HOUSE (?) - FLANOIR (2)

Code:
Monsters:              Items/Treasure:               Misc:
-Angel Swordian (E)
-Angel Commander (E)

  • You're taken straight to Altessa's, so save if you want and go inside. There will be a big scene. Afterwards, you'll fight some angels.
  • Talk to everyone to continue.

  • In Flanoir, go find Zelos, and the doctor is in the building nearby.
  • The four characters with the lowest Affection (besides Kratos) will leave with the doctor. The other three and Kratos will come to Lloyd's room in the order that they like you most. Who you go outside with affects some major scenes for the rest of the game.
  • If you want Kratos to rejoin your party later, go outside with him. (This will make Zelos leave the party.)

  • OPTIONAL: After this big scene, there are a few more sidequests open.
    • Pink Pearl Ring (final scene, if you did the rest)
    • Time to go to the beach! (swimsuit costumes)
    • Hot Springs
    • Aifread, you swine!
    • Dinner Party
    • Colette’s ¨Maid¨ title

  • OPTIONAL: If you went outside with Kratos during the Flanoir scene, you must do these sidequests before continuing any farther with the plot:
    • Raine's Mother
    • Princess Guard
    • Dinner Party
    • Masked Swordsman
    • Coliseum (meeting Seles)
    • Colette’s ¨Maid¨ title
    • Hot Springs

  • When you're ready, go to the Tower of Salvation.

*Depends on scene in Flanoir
(E)   Mandatory Event
CAP   Boss
#     Area in which you'll find the item

  • Remember you can't reenter this dungeon after you leave.

  • Zelos and Colette will leave your party for a while. Which boss fight you have here depends on who you went outside with in Flanoir.

  • If you went outside with anyone but Kratos....

  • Boss: Gatekeeper
    • HP: 18000 / TP: 800
    • Item Drop: Mystic Symbol / Steal: None
    • Strength: Light / Weakness: None

    • Angel Swordian x2
    • HP: 7480 / TP: 130
    • Drop: Pinapple Gel/ Steal: None
    • Strength: None / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 9640 / EXP: 9272
    • Suggested Level:
    • Suggested Strategy: They're really easy. Just beat on them.

  • If you went outside with Kratos....

  • Boss: Zelos (spoiler)
    • HP: 28000 / TP: 1200
    • Item Drop: Mystic Symbol / Steal: None
    • Strength: Thunder, Light / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 9800/ EXP: 9300
    • Suggested Level:
    • Suggested Strategy:

  • If you're paranoid about being underleveled, you might want to save on a different slot (or not save at all).

  • After you warp to the plant-filled area, go up/right. Use the Sorcerer's Ring on the tree branch in your way.

  • Jump onto the seesaw-like chunk of floor. There will be a quick scene explaining that you have to drop that big rock on the seesaw. Grab the treasure and take the stairs back up. Jump on the seesaw and instead of jumping down, walk across it to get down the other side.

  • Go through the door and go down (south). Follow the path until you can go to the right by burning a branch thrice. Get treasures with Hanumann's Staff, Ogre Axe, and Southern Cross.

  • Go out of that room and continue along the path until you go up some stairs. You will find more stairs nearby; go up them. When you come to a larger room, go to the lower left for a Heavenly Robe. Go to the right to continue.

  • Go down (south) and continue until you can go left for Star Mail and EX Gem Lv4. Go back and left to continue. Follow the path, and you'll be in the room with the seesaw and rock. Burn the branches on the rock thrice and it'll fall.

  • After that's done, backtrack (out, right, up, left, up, left, down the stairs). Go to the lower left where you can push the switch to open the door. Follow the path and you'll end up near the entrance again.

  • Take the upper-right path to get back to the room with the seesaw. Go down the stairs and jump up near the rock. Go right, and the rock will allow you to get off at the middle level. Go up the stairs to the warp.

  • There will be a scene, and you will end up in Area 2, pictured above. You can just go straight to the next area or go to either side for treasure and a vending machine. Shaman's Dress is Sheena's best armor (arguably), so I wouldn't miss it. :3

  • Scene.

  • They start hiding treasures behind rubble where you can't see them. >:(

  • Follow the path to the next warp. You'll have a scene and some event battles with Evil Orchids.

  • Follow the map. There's a save point (red star) if you want to take a detour.

  • Follow the map. After you warp, there are two chests (EX Gem Lv2 and Star Bracelet) which aren't mapped. Don't go up the middle path until you're ready to continue.

  • Again, follow the map.

  • When you get to the next area, just go foward. Save if you want, and examine the sword in the wall. It's time for two boss fights in a row! Fun!

  • Boss: Pronyma
    • HP:32000 / TP: 850
    • Item Drop: Red Savory / Steal: None
    • Strength: Darkness / Weakness: Light

    • Idun x2
    • HP: 11000 / TP: None
    • Drop: Black Quartz / Steal: None
    • Strength: None / Weakness: None

    • Gald: 7200 / EXP: 9400
    • Suggested Level:
    • Suggested Strategy: If Genis has Prism Sword, you might consider using him here, but I wouldn't otherwise. Sheena's handy because she can use S. Seal: Light and Summon: Light. Definately use Raine for her Light spells if not her healing. Equip one of your front line fighters with Topaz. Equip Raine with Amethyst, and equip the other characters with stuff that gives defense to Dark, Water, or Light too. Cook before battle. :)
Pronyma uses a lot of the same spells as before. Instead of Aqua Laser, she uses Spread, which is easier to dodge. ^_^ She also has Prism Sword, which isn't too hard to dodge either.
Take out the dumb flunkies first and then just beat on her. If you're low on items and having a hard time, use both Raine and Sheena to make up for a lack of Life Bottles.

  • Boss: Yggdrasill
    • HP: 40000 / TP: 3000
    • Item Drop: EX Gem Lv4; Energy Tablets / Steal: None
    • Strength: Light / Weakness: Dark

    • Gald: 4800 / EXP: 8320
    • Suggested Level:
    • Suggested Strategy: You actually have to win this time. :p If you want to use Kratos/Zelos, make sure he's not using the Laser Blade he comes back with unless you want to give him the Amethyst. Either way, someone should have the Amethyst, and Raine should have Topaz. Give the other characters Light defense if possible. As said above, if you're low on items and having a hard time, use both Raine and Sheena to make up for a lack of Life Bottles, plus Kratos/Zelos for healing. Sheena is good anyway, for T. Seal: Darkness and because the Shaman's Dress you got for her earlier in this dungeon has great Light defense. If you don't want to use her, remember that you probably have tons of Black Quartz.
Death Eater is like a mini-insta-Judgment. There's not much you can do to effect whether or not it hits you, so just endure.
Ground Dasher is easy enough to dodge. You might have to jump to get away from the edge if it was aimed at your character. You can dodge Thunder Arrow.
Push X when he uses Outburst so you can land on your feet.
