2005 adds yet another phenominal comic book adaptation to its line-up with Batman Begins. The incredible cast and crew brings the darker story, characters and the world of Batman back from mediocrity. I love Tim Burton's Batman and especially the stylized exuberence of Batman Returns, but Batman Begins has a much deeper and realistic take on the franchise. Momento is one of my favorite movies and the director, Christopher Nolan really dives into the mind of Bruce Wayne and the birth of Batman. I really like how they show Wayne developing the Batsuit and Batcave with Alfred and how Wayne acquires all his gadgets from Lucius. The playboy side of Bruce Wayne is fun. The Scarecrow works, but I do miss the over-the-top villains from the previous movies. The action sequences are great, Wayne's training, the Batmobile and how Batman glides around looks terrific, but it's still not as cool as Spider-Man. Batman Begins is now my third favorite comic book movie... right behind Sin City and Spider-Man 2.

Yep, it was an awesome movie. Better than the last two thankfully.

I saw all the batman movies in theaters except the one with the Riddler and Two-Face (I saw the first batman when I was like 3) and this one was amazing. It was less cartoonish and more to real life. I saw it with my mom (NO COMMENT, She's really cool. I don't want to hear One. Single. Your Mom joke/comment. *slaps all of you in advance*) and she thought the whole theme was very Sodom and Gammorah (sp?).

Anyway, very very cool. Now I must go re-rent all the old ones.

BTW I was most probably the only person in the theater in a miniskirt. XDDD

The scarecrow was one of my fav batman enemies.

Anyway, it looks pretty good. I'll probably see it tomorrow with my Dad for Father's Day.

This movie was amazing i just saw it yesterday. I loved that within the first 10-15min of the movie is an amazing fight scene. They made the punches sound like each hit was backed with anvil or something

Saw it. Loved it.
8/10.

I enjoy Batman movies more than the Spiderman ones.
I guess its because that the Batman stories always seem "darker", and more scary. Plus, Batman looks cooler than Spiderman. ^^

The character Dr. Crane had a creepy resemblance to Tom Welling or whatever his name is. (That pretty boy from Smallville)

But yeah, overall really great. Although, the action seemed a little blurry and confuddled at times to me. But I wasn't wearing my contacts, so maybe that had something to do with it. =P

Christian Bale is the best Batman yet. This movie is the best Batman movie yet.

Some of it is confusing, like the brawl in the jail and the part at the shipping yard, but I think that was intentional. I do like how the action isn't the main focus of the movie -- it's still great, but the great acting really shines.

No way. Adam West is way worse than Christain Bale. This guy made Batman come alive, and he was a lot better as the Bruce Wayne/batman than any other guys. Michael Keaton comes close, but it definitely not better. He resembles Bruce a lot more.

This movie was definitely better than the Spiderman movies. I liked it much more. I really think this is the best comic book movie yet. It shows a much more darker side, and I like the comic book they based it on.

Memento was indeed a great movie, and Christopher Nolan is a wonderful director. he made this movie much better than all the others. I loved the ending with the whole "calling card" Haha, I think they should definitely make a next one, with Joker.

Batman

^The movie with the joker. Made about 15 years ago. (I guess I didn't see this one in theaters, probably on video.)

But I agree about this being the best comic book movie and the ending rocking.

Oh, and I was kidding about Adam West. I think he's hillarious though. With the people in the windows. And not knowing where to throw the bomb. And "BOOM" "POW' "KABLAM!" And "Holy *insert something weird here* Batman!" It's just a funny TV series.

By far the best comic book movie yet. Mind you, I haven't seen Sin City yet, which is what I believe to be it's only competition. Anyways, just pure awesomeness. The movie never slowed down. Every piece of conversation was interesting.

William Shatner would make an awesome Batman.

I think Val Kilmer's the best. Wink Along with Batman Forever. But I liked Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, and Lian Neeson (I couldn't remember where else I had seen him until after the movie; Qui-Gon Jin).

Anyway, BB was a pretty good movie, but too slow for me at the beginning. I also 1. hated the bad guy because he looked like a woman and 2. think the villian was pretty lame with his panic drug stuff; a well-placed batarang would have owned him. But the Batmobile scene and the final battle were pretty cool.

Val Kilmer does have some pimp lips, I'll give him that.

But yeah, Adam West is the best. ^^ I was wrong.

...I'm just glad they didn't pull that one joke from the last two batmans, when batman gets dressed, and they show a close up of his rubber ass.

Wasn't funny the first time.

Yeah, Dr. Crane was really feminine. Damn pretty boys. Cool mask, tho.
