Day 1.
The day started with a massive amount of excitement all throughout my school day. I wore my cape that day to show that I was really excited. That day we had a long assembly for the seniors which made the wait even harder. My biggest concerns for the day were that it would be really crowded and we would get lost easily. Anyway, our mom drove a few of our fellow Anime fans to the convention center. When we arrived, I was in awe. People all around were cosplaying. As soon as we got there, we passed an Inuyasha group. They were really impressive. Well, we went down and picked up our preregisteration tags. Next we went up to the dealer’s room where they had a ton of anime swag. I didn’t buy anything that day since I was going to look around for what I liked and come back tomorrow. I spotted a Tales of Symphonia capsule figure set that I wanted. After that we popped into the Writer’s Forum where we had a chance to discuss some things about writing in an Anime style. We mainly looked at some of the amazing artwork they were showing off. Then we basically called home and went home.
Day 2.
So our main day started off with me waking up at 6:45AM. We ate breakfast and waited for one of my friends. It was such a long wait that I was about to have a panic attack that she wouldn’t be coming. She finally came and we headed off. When we arrived, we headed right for the vendors. I picked up that ToS figurine set and a Rurouni Kenshin wallscroll. Afterwards I went downstairs to catch the last episode of .hack//sign they were showing. All throughout the day, we dropped in on our artist friends. After eating lunch at a mall a long walk away (And picking up some more film), we went back. Our activities involved me buying some manga, attempting to assemble the Tales figurines, and watching .hack//Legend of the Twilight. Great anime since it’s like a much less serious version of Sign. Following dinner at a Chinese restaurant, we went back to the cosplay presentation, which itself was magical. People got up and did skits in their costumes. I liked the one called “Welcome to AMA” where they dressed up as the Eight Bit Theatre’s Fighter, Black Mage, and the Corneria Guard guy. It was the funniest thing we saw all day. Another good skit was the “Name that Anime” gameshow parody. They had Cid from FF7, Tuxedo Kamen, and Belldandy cosplayers. At one point they whipped out those Yugioh dueling devices. That was the most fun I’ve ever had in the convention. As we were on the way back to our ride, we passed a random guy that said, “I farted all the way here.” And that’s how our Day 2 ended.
Day 3.
I’m going to go skip the part where we picked everyone up and went there. Well it’s finally come to the last day which means… Discount day! Our first destination was the Anime Music Video showing. They ranged from bizarre to awesome. Afterwards, we headed upstairs to do some major shopping. I picked up an Aoshi figure from Rurouni Kenshin. Our friends also got ones and one of Hiko, Kenshin’s master. We had trouble assembling Hiko since his leg wouldn’t fit right. Going to lunch involved me taking a trip to the nearby Toys R Us to pick up a disposable camera. We ate at a nearby Subway and scared some people with our weird dress and the stuff we talked about. There was a soccer tournament there the same day so not everyone was into the whole dress like your favorite anime character thing. After we went back I had fun playing Super Smash Brothers Melee and Mario Kart Double Dash in the gaming room. I got second place twice in DD. I won one battle and lost another in Smash Brothers. Finally before we headed off to the closing ceremonies, I bought pins of Inuyasha and Kagome. Closing ceremonies started with some rather strange music videos combining anime with video game music. Then a musician got on stage and performed the song about being various kinds of Superheroes. And the projector behind them read “He likes Yaoi.” The special guests then got on stage and said a few words before the convention officially closed. We got in one last group photo before departing. Thus ends our wondrous experience at AMA. _________________

Behold the Gallery of Pocky
Pocky's a great snack that's a favorite among anime fans. Usually it's a pretzel stick coated with chocolate or strawberry. _________________

I LOVE Pocky. I adore it. I could eat it all day. I prefer chocolate. I also like Lychee jello, another Asian snack. Erm, actually, I like a lot of Asian snacks... ^^0
Seems you had a lot of fun, Lord Fawkes Garde! What a great way to kick off your summer. _________________
