Solstice awakened to find, to his relief, that his arm felt much better than last night. He got up and went to the lower floor to meet with the others in his party. Upon arriving, however, none of them were awake, so Solstice decided to head out to do some resupplying of the battleship Athena.

~Palmacosta Market~

The market on the docks of the town was eerily quiet as Solstice passed the closed shops and the fishermen hauling in their smelly loads.

"Ibis," Solstice said to his one eyed friend. Ibis was talking to the local weapons merchant, offering to supply him with powerful new spears.

"Yes, Solstice?" Ibis said. "This is Solstice, the guy who saved me on one of my trading journeys."

"I need two dozen cannonballs, high explosive and armor penetrating. Also, a month's supply of preserved foods," Solstice said calmly.

"Always getting to the point, eh? 50,000 Gald for all of it," Ibis said. Solstice raised an eyebrow. "Hey, if Lord Magnius catches me selling such powerful weapons to a human, he'll have my head on a platter."

"So, you're an arms merchant for the Desians now," Solstice said.

"Hey, I'm an equal opportunity salesman," Ibis replied. "Tell you what. I'll give you all the stuff you need for 25,000."

"Agreed," Solstice said. However, instead of handing him the Gald, Solstice gave Ibis a crystal. "Found it months ago. Should be worth millions."

"I'll have the stuff sent to your ship."

~Palmacosta Inn~

Solstice returned to the inn, hoping to find the others awake. He eagerly waited to hear what Skyleth had to tell him.

Kurama as usual did not go to sleep last night instead he was browsing around the city seeing all the people out after dark. "Well, now that its morning, I might as well go back to the inn and meet up with everyone," said Kurama to himself. He went into the innn and found Solstice sitting down waiting for everyone. "Morning Solstice. Are you coming to with us or is there something else you must do?" he asked sitting down at the same table Solstice was sitting on.

Centrus awoke with a new vigor thinking of how he will return to his new city. Centrus was still worried about telling the truth to the people still coming with them. Centrus thought how Aurelian could have reached the city. " should I tell them or... should I wait...?" said Centrus nervously to himself. "we should tell them now, otherwise they may be angered if we don't tell them now and they find out later." said Kurama surprising Centrus. "You're still not sleeping since the incident huh?" said Centrus.

mine is earlier before kurama left to browse the city.

"I've got to wait for Skyleth before I leave. He has something important to tell me," Solstice said. "If you need anything like weapons or supplies, check the flagship Athena. I just had my old friend deliver a shipment of supplies to our ship."

Not wanting to wait for food to be served, Solstice took out a piece of preserved meat from his pack and took a bite from it. The food had been dried and salted to keep it from spoiling during travels. Many adventurers carried these for food was short on their travels.

Centrus came downstairs from his room. "Salty meat. Well that's very old in---" he then stopped like he was being interrupted. "I mean, nevermind," he continued like he was hiding something. "Well, its good Alexander left us food on the Athena. It takes two days by boat to Korandur, or--then one day--then two..Uhh, Kurama," said the confused Centrus. He was not a good navigator on sea. He always gave that job to Kurama. Centrus would usually be the captain in control of everything going on. He would command when they should attack another ship, or he would tell them where they are going, and let Kurama take in control on the navigation from there. "Two days on ship, then one day by foot," he said," then...uhh..I mean nothing. Thats all. Two days by ship and one on foot," he said looking at Centrus. [Should we tell them Kurama?] asked Centrus telepatically to Kurama. [Nah, better not] Kurama thought back.

~Sleeping under a tree~
It had become dark, before Kai had woken up.
"Oh man! How long have I been asleep?"
Loki barked,
"That long? man we better be going!" said Kai as he got up, Loki was waging his tail as they left.
Not long after they left the arrived at the city gates...the streets were illuminated by the flames of the lamps. People stroll along the street with their kids headed home. Kai headed for the tavern, he told Loki to stay outside while he got a job.

~Tavern~
The Tavern was dimmly lit, the smell of booze filled the air, and the barkeep was washing out mugs.
Kai sat on the stool closest to him and the barkeep asked, "So what will it be?"
"I'm looking for work." replied Kai, after that the barkeep placed the mug he was working with down.
"Work eh? I got a job, but you need to go overseas to Mizuho."
"What the job?"
"Bodyguard." replied the man with a toothy grin
'Bodyguard? must be cute girl...heheheh' thought Kai as he placed his hand on his chin, with a grin.
"I'll take it, so where is the cute chick-a-dee?" asked Kai as he looked around.
"Down here." said small cute voice.
Kai looked down and saw it was a little girl holding a teddy bear.
She looked no older then ten, with black hair, and blue eyes, she was wearing a dark blue kimono.
'A little girl! Aw man...' thought the disappointed Kai
"Here, these tickets are for friday, it will take you to Sybak." the man said as he got out a key. "and this key is for your room at the inn, have fun." he laughed as he went back to work.

Kai had grabbed the little girl's hand and walked with her to the inn, where they rested for the night.

Felix walked slowly behind the others, now smiling as broadly as ever. " Awww,Kensenko, do your harsh words mean that you were worried about dear old Felix's life?" Felix said trying to make lite of his stunt, but on the inside, he thought deeply. Why the hell didn't that technique work?! I've done it all like my grandfather said, yet I still can't emit magic through my blades. Oh well, I'm sure I'll have plenty of other times to pull stunts like that.

Felix suddenly noticed Kensenko's sinister glare at his little remark. " Uh heeh heeh! Hey, Kensenko, I was just bustin' your chops! You know that right?! And in case any one is wondering, I thought that if my life was in danger, then maybe I'd be able to perfect my techniqe. But apparently not" Felix then looked at Akurei and Aria and thanked them for not yelling cruel things at him.

Felix smiled at Aria's words. "Well, that's a releif, I thought this was going to be boring" Felix said excitedly. " Oh, as if almost getting yourself killed was an every day thing?" Kensenko said sarcastically. Felix drooped in defeat. " Well, lets go get those dumb overgrown stones!" Felix said happily as he pulled out his weapons and charged at the golems!

"Right ok!" Farore shouted. She lifted her sword above her head, spead her wings and shouted, "Persephone's Woe!"The negative energy streamed for her sword, she brought her sword down and energy formed the Goddess Persephone and engulfed two of the scorpians. She turned around to see a mantid rush at her, she spreads her wings again and cries,"Raven Wing" the mantid was blown back, Farore rushed at it and cut off it's head.

Serenity opened her room door and yawned greatly. She slowly made her way downstairs to where her allies were. She was lucky not to trip on the way down the stairs, as her eyes were only halfway open. Serenity made her way to where everyone was standing and yawned widely.
"Good morning everyone!" she said sleepily.
She sat on the couch near the ground and rested her head against the top of the couch.
"Just resting my eyes... Zzzzz..." Serenity said aloud before falling back asleep.

"Okay! We're a hundred Yards Away from the Rhaird!" He yelled as he put his dagger on his back. When he finally got to the Rhaird he started to summon. Green symbols were around him. "I Summon the power of the Praying Mantis!" A low rumbling was heard from around. Sataka got on the Rhaird and waited for Farore.

Apollo turned to Solstice and the group,"I will be leaving now.That demon we fought in the Cathedral was...connected to me.I thought if I took down the demon and his organization it would attone for some of the sins I have commited." Apollo went back to his room and took packed for his journey.He took one last look at Palmacosta and headed off.
