Well, I just did a t' uber glitch (EDIT: and it's awesome), and I thought I should make a thread.

******WARNING: Do not use this glitch if you are pregnant, have back problems, or if you are an idiot. It isn't a 5 year old skill. I don't want PMs asking how to do it if you can't figure it out. Thank you.*****

Basic Idea of glitch: The basic idea for this is to get a character to know all the S techs and know all the T techs. But, the game doesn't let a character know the Lv. 2 S tech and the Lv. 2 T tech at the same time (but not Lv. 3 Razz). This glitch is designed to work around that rule to let you know the maximum amount of techs possible.

Techs possible (these are only techs that have anything to do with this glitch, all others you can get regardless) yellow = T, black = S.

Lloyd: Double Demon Fang or Fierce Demon Fang (you must pick one), Demonic Chaos, and Demonic Circle. For the Tiger Blade tree, you can have Twin Tiger Blade and your pick of either Tiger Rage or Heavy Tiger Blade (the former is recommended, but the latter does not require the use of this glitch). For the Sword Rain tree, you can have Sword Rain: Beta and your pick of either Sword Rain: Alpha or Sonic Sword Rain (same deal as with Tiger Blade).

Genis: Aqua Laser, Wind Blade, Grave, Spark Wave, Flame Lance, Freeze Lancer, Absolute, Atlas, Prism Sword, Tidal Wave, Cyclone, Ground Dasher, Indignation, and Explosion. You can't get Gravity Well or Raging Mist if you get any of the first 5 techs I listed (or if you do the glitch at all).

Raine: Nurse or Heal (only one), Healing Circle, Revitalize, Cure, and Revive.

Presea: Finite Devastation or Mass Devastation (pick one), and Eternal Devastation. Dual Infliction or Resolute Infliction (pick), and Eternal Infliction. Dual Punishment or Finality Punishment (only one), and Rising Punishment. Deadly Destruction or Fiery Destruction (you guessed it), and Infinite Destruction.

Colette: Pow Pow Hammer or Para Ball (only one), Hammer Rain, and Torrential Para Ball. Ray Satellite or Dual Ray Thrust (once again, only one), Triple Ray Satellite, and Triple Ray Thrust.

Actual glitch directions: Note: The italicized and underlined text tells you why you are doing that step.

Let's use Genis as the character to learn the techs for ease:

1. Turn off all techs for Genis and make sure he is in T territory (T for Genis, other characters differ). This disallows Genis from using any techs.

2. Make sure you are a high enough LV. to learn Indignation, Explosion, Cyclone, Ground Dasher, and Tidal Wave. Learn them. This is pretty obvious.

3. Take another character (we'll use Lloyd) and equip 2 of Genis's Lv. 2 T techs (we'll use Spread and Air Thrust) to Lloyd's C-Stick shortcuts (that means equip Spread to Lloyd's C-up and Air Thrust to C-down). This allows Lloyd to make Genis use x tech whenever you want.

4. Next, take Lloyd out of the active party. Then forget Spread and Air Thrust, and move Lloyd back into the active party. This ensures that Genis will not know the techs, but Lloyd will have them in his C-stick shortcuts.

5. During this next part, you must use Lloyd to make Genis learn Tidal Wave and Cyclone by pressing up and down on Lloyd's C-stick shortcut until you learn them. Normally, you only have one battle, but if you enter a dungeon, most of the time, you can finish the battle and still have the techs in Lloyd's C-stick shortcut. This is the meat of the glitch; getting Genis to know Lv. 3 T techs but not their respective Lv. 2 techs.

6. Repeat steps 3-5 to make Genis learn all the LV. 3 T techs without Genis knowing the LV. 2 T techs. This is an idiotproof step telling you do the glitch with all of the tech trees.

7. Now go to S territory and learn all the LV. 2 S techs (Aqua Laser, Spark Wave, Flame Lance, Grave, and Wind Blade) by using their Lv. 1 tech. This is so you'll have the S techs (and can then be sure you can use the Lv. 1 techs in T territory).

8. Learn Absolute and Atlas (you also must have Freeze Lancer, which has no LV. 3 T Ice tech, so you don't have to do this glitch for that element). This is so you'll know the Lv. 3 S techs, obviously.

9. Learn Prism Sword. This is the same as step 8, but you have to know Absolute and Atlas first.

Now, you can turn all techs back on, and do whatever you want.

Yes, this also works for
Presea (Devastation, Infliction, Punishment, and Destruction tech-trees)
Lloyd (Demon Fang, Sword Rain, and Tiger Blade tech-trees)
Colette (Ray Thrust and Pow Hammer tech-trees)
and Raine (First Aid tech-tree).

hey i was just wonderin.wen u complete the game u can choose to carry over your existing techs.wen u do this the techs u had learned last time are available right away without havin to use others 50 times to get them.so say u already hav all of the S-type techs learnt and right away u switch your bar thing towards T-type.theoretically u cud learn both sets by doin this.does this work?????

Learning techniques does not work that way; you'd still need to forget a technique of one type to learn the equivalent technique of the other...

no

in the game, you can't learn both S and T LV. 2 techs (i.e. Spread and Aqua Laser), but you can "learn" Lv. 3 T and all S's

Yup, that's sinister, but I think Genis' T-Type spells are the only way to go
