If you spend more money on the games than the system, and the games are not horribly overpriced, it's a good deal in my book.
That said:
Tales of Graces f day one edition: 60€ (Normal version: 40€)
Tales of Xillia: 60€
Unisonant Pack: 60€ (???)
PS3 12GB: 190€
PS3 500GB: 250€
Now, the unisonant pack will probably cost more, the PS3 will probably cost a little less if you get it together with Xillia and Xillia 2 will most probably be localized at some point, so all in all I'd say it's safe to buy a PS3.
That's my rationalization of spending this much money anyway.
Not sure how I'm going to pay for a better television set.
Edit: And that's only the Tales Franchise part of the PS3! |
Certainly sounds better then my initial reason to buy a 360, lol. The sole reason i bought it was Tales of Vesperia, and I don't regret it, lol.
Well I did find other good games anyway, and I knew there others that interested me, but if it weren't for Tales of Vesperia, I wouldn't have gotten the system.
Oddly enough, I own that and I don't even own a PS3, lol. (I had money then, I don't now) My brother does though, and he just recently moved back in with me, so I am finally playing Tales of Graces F, lol. |

For me it's not about money. It's just that I rarely play any consoles nowadays since I have such an awesome friend (<3) and we mainly play PC games. And then there is always the fact that I don't have a real interest in most of the PS3 games anyway. Games I would get first would be Tales of Graces f, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Xillia. _________________

I'm in the same washtub.
Except that the only games I play nowadays are those on the 3DS because I don't really have time for anything else.
Don't forget journey though. _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, slivijizzisious and many other names

Did anyone ever cancelled an order from nin-nin-games?
I've send them 3 e-mails/messages and I haven't received an actual answer yet, only one really sassy canned e-mail and an error message.
I'm honestly starting to panic. I just want to cancel my pre-order. _________________

I don't have facebook... I'll try another of their e-mail adresses if I still don't get an answer.
As for the sass:
| Quote: | Bonjour, et merci pour votre message !
Avez-vous vérifié que la réponse à votre question ne se trouve pas déjà dans notre FAQ ? Prenez le temps de la lire attentivement !
http://www.nin-nin-game.com/content/9-FAQ
Si la réponse à votre question ne s'y trouve pas, nous vous recontacterons aussi vite que possible. Merci de votre patience !
Cordialement,
La Team Nin-Nin

Classic "thank you for your e-mail", etc. But the bold part rubbed me the wrong way: "Have you checked if the answer is already in the FAQ? Take the time to read it carefully!". Of course, I've read it carefully but I'm still confused. That's why I'm sending you an e-mail.
Anyways, I've reply to this e-mail and let them know about the error message I got at the same time. I just wish I could talk to someone, I don't need to deal with this right now. _________________

This is also why I hate people saying the loss of Vesperia PS3 somewhat annoying -- if only it were so nice and easy to buy a new system, most of the problem would be solved. But MS decided to build an over-priced and crap system of which NB decided to make a game on (and leave NA fans in the dust).
But enough of that.
I do join Slivius too by mostly playing handhelds. No wonder those things fly off the shelf in the busy Japanese life (and high commute no doubt). _________________ http://dice9999.deviantart.com/

I hope it won't require the Playstation Move, Considering all those motion-based Mini-games in Dawn of the new world (The dragon thing on Asgards stone Dias for example) _________________

Since only 5 people have the Playstation Move, I doubt it. _________________ http://dice9999.deviantart.com/

Yup probably, I think these things can go both ways. I could hardly believe that Okami on the Wii had originally been on the PS2 but the controls work both ways, and it has an HD edition on the PS3 now _________________

Nin-nin-game update: They answered all of my e-mails within 24 hours and cancelled my order this morning. *happy dance*
It seems that they don't reply to e-mails sent to info@nin-nin-game.com. If you have issues, leave a message on your order or try n2g.customer@gmail.com.
All's well that ends well~ _________________

new screenshots, the backgrounds actually look pretty good, and watching Symphonia gameplay today the models look quite nice
We get Luke and Guy costumes around the beginning of the game _________________

Costumes are awkward. You can see they have completely newer textures/design than the head/hair/hands do... _________________
