Still, is it going to be packaged, or Digital Distribution only?
I've got money burning a hole in my pocket, and If I can obtain it here in Canada, I will buy a PS3 just for it

I loved having Fenia, Fenrir, and Orca on my team  there also other nice monster cameos so I'm glad they kept it. I wanted to do another play through of DotNW but my Wii is wonky so this makes me happy. I am SO happy this is on PS3!!! It could do with some more touch up but I'm fine with this if they add other stuff. I don't really like the costumes since one of them is a recycle that doesn't even fit, and they could have chosen other characters for the best friend theme, but I still don't mind because of that theme. I also like Guy, so that helps. I wonder if these seem to be in game if all cameos will be in game or I'd there will be a separate cameo dlc set that will probably give more fitting costumes.
I actually played as Sheena from when I got her until my next play through, though to be fair, I didn't know it was possible to combo so it was all the same to me. I do hope they give her more combo able melee artes, i mean she does some crazy stuff with the cards in the OVA.
I wonder, if they do DLC, will the ToS costumes carry over to DotNW, or maybe only DotNW will have DLC? It'll be nice for Marta and Emil to have costumes, maybe they'll add some in game ones

They're not gonna do that though, I mean costumes aren't like that picture at all, they are superficial, so while it sucks we can't really be like oh no they've taken out part of the game. I think staples like swimsuits and formal should always be in-game for new games, but like Namco makes a fair bit on DLC and having stuff like sports sets as DLC just makes sense for them

Ah, this is absolutely fantastic. I don't think my body will be able to handle the new Smash Bros announce now, this will all be too much~
Funny too, I just started playing Symphonia with a friend. Looks like I'll been all set for the new version! ^_^ |

WHO THE HELL REGION LOCKS A F**KING GAME WEBSITE?
Back on topic, I don't get why people are worried about them re-dubbing the game or w/e. I'm 99% sure this will be the exact same dub as what was released back on the GC and Wii games. They aren't going to do more than that, in fact the only reason I even think this is coming is due to the little amount of localization work required. They'll probably just leave all new content unvoiced, it's not like it was really that much added.
I mean, seeing as absolutely no one wants a redub anyways, if they did one it would basically mean Namco is going out of their way to give people exactly what they DON'T want.
Can't say I really care either way though since I'm just going import the JPN version regardless.

Japan does, because other countries loved to get all up in their business several years back.
Also, there's no flippin' way they're just going to leave new artes and whatnot unvoiced. There's even mystic artes in there. |

They'll either get sound-a-likes and do a ton of pitch adjustment or just use unused voice recordings from the original dub and splice it creatively.
Either way, I seriously doubt they will redub a WHOLE game over a few arts. That would be beyond retarded.

Of course they wouldn't. They'd sooner just pay all the original actors again if all they wanted to voice was the new artes.
Point was some of that new content certainly isn't stuff that can go unvoiced, so it isn't quite so probable that they'd do no additional voice work.
For one thing, I'm not so certain unvoiced skits will fly anymore in the modern gaming climate. Sitting through Abyss' skits became a major chore on the 3DS port. |
