Okay, yeah, my wording was a little off there. I'm not expecting it to be free to live on campus, but nobody told me I had to pay just to have my application go through. I'm going to uni entirely on government loans, and they won't give me anything until I actually start attending school in September. I can't even afford to apply for residence, so now I'm kinda screwed over cause I'm too far away from the school to live at home.

You only need one kidney.

Pos : Still no rain but the wind is pushing the wildfire away from us. Looks like we have nothing to worry about for now.

Pos : 6 more days and I am back home!!!

The biggest problem is that the deadline for all of this is June 3rd. I could have started this earlier, but I was waiting to hear back from Western (the school I wanted to get into the most), and they didn't notify me that I wasn't accepted until 2 days ago. If I had more time, I could probably raise the $400, but...

Guess it's student housing or nothing for me.

Fickraken: I'm working on a project charter for my IT Project Management course. It's for a fictional company that wants to develop a website that will let employees apply for a fitness club that will help them get more healthy and lower health insurance premiums or whatever.

Positive/Negative: The project team members.

Theodor Geisel, CEO and Project Sponsor.
Me as the Project Manager.
Dr. Emmett Brown, Ph.D., Senior Medical Advisor.
Terry Bollea, Chief Athletic Supervisor.
Dennis Nedry, IT Specialist.

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

Seriously dude? Do you not think he's a terrible choice for any position of responsibility?

fick/lol:

One of my friends always used to make jabs at me for being chubby (nothing abusive or harmful, just some semi-frequent deprecating humor). Well, now that I have lost a lot of weight, he has actually gained a little weight and I've noticed he's been eating a lot less (he used to have one of those "eat whatever I want" metabolisms). I now weigh only 5 pounds more than him (it used to be a 110 pound difference), and my metabolism (used to be "eat a carrot, gain 5 pounds) has improved a lot since I started working out.

Feels good.

Just apply your attitude that you have when you post; you have a spine here, at least.

@Flamfas - Success is the best revenge!

FICK: Trying to broaden my music tastes to that beyond mainstream garbage and Mariah Carey.
NEG: Facebook makes depression worse.

Neg: one of my cousin's friends was stabbed to death by her boyfriend.

She was 17 and her boyfriend is 16. She died so young, she was mere months from graduating high school but she never made it that far. And the murderer's life will never be the same. He deserves that much obviously but a part of me feels bad that someone so young has the rest of their life screwed up. Supposedly he was on anti-depressants so he wasn't of stable mind.

I'm not really sure! I always tend to heavily play an odd indie-rock-though-slightly-pop-infused track every now and then, like something from Biffy Clyro or from today Muse. Maybe I should start looking in that direction?

That's never an excuse if you ask me.

What a horrible thing to do.
