Aren't they just getting it from the stock from Xillia's JP release? |
Unlike North America, Europe has different outlet voltages from Japan, so they need a different plug. Depending on whether the voltage converter is inside the PS3 or in the plug itself (power brick), that might change how that works. _________________ Gaming in 2013:

I was under the impression it was easy to change such things if just for one or two consoles? I seriously have no idea XDD _________________

It would be "fan"-freaking-tastic if they'd sell it. HAH.

I already love puns but you made it ten times better with the emphasis, you are after my heart Dice <3
Also, I really want to enter whatever they're doing for the PS3, but I don't need an extra one, so I think I'll just watch the contest if they do one~ it'd be pretty rockin of they did sell a few then maybe one day when my PS3 finally says goodbye to the light of day forever, I can search the smokey corners of a stores stock and find it and be like Oh yeah Tales PS3 _________________

Ditto. Lunch with the man himself. I can imagine it could turn into a hilarious cooking skit between the winners and Baba. XD |

Is it just me or did they re-time the mouth flaps in the skits to fit the English dialogue? I doubt Namco would go to such effort, but it would be nice if it were true. And it could help explain the longer release time. |

| So Leia is voiced by Laura Landa? That just leaves Elize to figure out. |

They can't officially sell a Japanese PS3 outside Japan, there are other issues with it.
While all PS3 models have the same languages options, the PS3 is a region-coded console. Some US/EU content doesn't work on JPN PS3s, some JPN content doesn't work on US/EU PS3s. They can't sell a PS3 outside of it's intended region because of this.
DVDs, blurays, and PS1 games are region locked. Most PS3 games are region free but there are a few locked ones such as Persona 4 Arena and Joysound Dive.
Having said that, all PS3 models are multi-voltage. All you need to make a foreign PS3 work in your territory is power cable that fits your outlets, no voltage converter is needed. _________________ Currently playing: テイルズオブエクシリア |
