Since the other sorta pairing topic with a misleading title has turned into a VA discussion, I'm recreating one =)

So who do you ship?

To be honest, at my first glance of Xillia, I already shipped Jude and Leia, Alvin and Milla, yet the game took my ships, crumpled them like paper, and threw them aside like paper filled with Math equations and solutions you used for an exam.

I HATED Jude x Milla on my Milla playthrough, like a lot. But when I played Jude's side....I actually kinda started to like Jude X Milla. And then I liked it in even more in ToX2. I'm still not a BIG Jude X Milla shipper though.

At first I really liked Leia X Jude but then.....yeah, no. No no no. No. And this was BEFORE my Jude playthrough/I even knew about THAT scene.

Love me some Jude X Aska though Razz

And despite the age difference, I really liked Alvin X Leia in both ToX and ToX2, they are just so cute together :3 (doesn't help that I'm cosplaying ToX Leia for Fanime and my bf is cosplaying Alvin...SO EXCITED TO DO THE HANDSHAKE).

....Gaius X Musee is more cute/funny than anything.

And I love love love looooove Ludger x (spoiler?...also forgot her name, lol, it's the "Good" ending). And Ludger x Alt Milla is also really cute.

@Radge: Haha it was more or less the same for me. At the beginning of the game, I thought Milla and Alvin had great chemistry. So do Milla and Gaius but I can't see it as romantic. Actually, the more the story progressed, the less I could see Milla fall in love with anyone. Funny, because that's when she started developing feelings for Jude Laughing

I've warmed up to Jude/Milla since then (like Siphry said, it's actually more likable in Jude Side, also X2), but I still would have preferred it to stay platonic...

otoh, I love how Leia->Jude was handled. I was very afraid of Leia being the clingy girlfriend type at first (I mean, her description didn't make me feel very optimistic about it, considering other characters with a similar setting), but she surprisingly wasn't, and it was really nice. I also love how she let go of her crush at the end and decided to find her own happiness on her own.

One thing I liked about X2 is that Jude aside, the only ones who got some pairing hints were all adults. And it was mostly subtle (or not so subtle *cough*last Alvin episode*cough*) hints.

Rowen/Marcia was really lovely<3

Anyway, I think my ships are:

X1: Gaius/Wingull, Leia->Jude, Jude->Milla, Alvin->Milla, Elise->Milla, Ivar->Milla, Presa->Alvin

X2: Rowen/Marcia, Alvin/Jurgens, Ludger/Alt!Milla, Hao/Celsius

After reading some of the short stories: Victor/Lalle, Julius/Redau, Hubert/Ana

Other: Leia/Ivar, Leia/Agria, Aska/Jude

Don't actually ship but sounds nice/hot/interesting/whatever: Alvin/Leia, Gaius/Milla, Milla/Musee, Jiao/Presa, X2 Jude/Milla

I've never had so many ships as in Xillia, and it's also the first time I can ship some characters with more than one other character. Also first time I ship same sex pairings in Tales.

Rowen/All Da Ladies (aw yeah)

Jude/Milla Bodypillow (who are we kidding he probably has one)

Leia/Agria (damn you pixiv)

Milla/Elise (hey this one has some basis in canon. Elise tots has a crush for Milla)

Milla/Elise/Leia (*whistles nonchalantly*)

On my first playthrough the only thing I really shipped was Nachtigal/Rowen and Drossel/Elize.

Started shipping Leia/Milla when I did Milla's side.

I really can't stand Jude/Milla, mostly because it was way too pushed in the game.

I find it amusing how much the pre-release material teased Alvin/Milla and then it turned out there was nothing in the actual game, lol.

Because their love is pure.

Just kidding.

Gaius/Musee - other people don't like it, but there is something about it I just think works.

Jude/Millia - I really don't understand why people don't like this one. I think they are really cute together tbh.

I was kinda hoping for Alvin/Presa, until they killed her off, completely ruining any hopes of it.

Depends. I wouldn't consider a pairing discussion necessarily spoilery in itself, as they don't necessarily need you to talk about plot points. I've added a warning in the topic title to be sure Smile

From my basal knowledge of the games right now I ship:

Jude/Milla(we'll see), Leia/Alvin (after reading the translation of the short story between one and two, also Leia NEEDS an Umbrella joke weapon Laughing

), Musee/Gaius(kind of), and definitely Ludger/Alt!Milla and Victor/Lalle, especially with the normal ending I feel like Ludger was seeing Elle more than he was actually seeing Lalle xD
