He has a larger presence in Mario and Luigi Dream Team, and then there's Super Luigi U which is a takeover on Luigi's part. They're not big deals by any means but let's be real here: Year of Luigi is meant to give spotlight to Luigi. It doesn't mean he's taking over as the face of Nintendo.
And the only thing Luigi has to himself is the Mansion series. I really can't see Nintendo doing anything else for Luigi besides making another title that is exclusive to him, which is a stretch even with Year of Luigi. _________________ Support XSEED | Listen to Falcom music | Do life the right way

I'm beginning to like the Luigi's games better than the Mario's.
Though I'm a little sad FLUDD's gone. _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

For being such a Mario enthusiast, idk how you could dislike FLUDD. :/ Sunshine was utterly fantastic and I rank it up there with Galaxy. _________________ Gaming in 2013:

Fludd ruined Mario in Brawl for me and it upped my resentment for Sunshine. Environments were repetitive, cutscenes were a chore to go through and made us all realize we don't want voice acting in Mario, gave us quantity over quality (dem blue coins man), Yoshi that explodes in water, boos were trippy, really 'wat' final boss fight, and Bowser Jr&Petey will plague us for the rest of our days....
What I do give it: Blooper surfing and the best hub map we've had from Mario yet, and introducing riding dandelion puffs.
But besides that I swear to **** the boss fights in this game. 'CLEAN THIS GIANT FISH'S TEETH LOL'.
SPLITTING MANRAY THING
ROLLER COASTER AIMING
DRIVE THIS BOAT IN LAVA (A level but whatever)
Dis game.
I don't hate it, mind you, but I don't like it either. _________________

Whatever, I don't follow that trend so I'm still hating on Sunshine. It's not a bad game, just simply the worst 3D Mario until 3D Land. As usual, Mario 64 gets a pass because it's the first, but I remember Sunshine got lots of hate even during its heyday for FLUDD and the crappy camera. _________________

They are repetitive since it's a tropical island, not magical worlds inside paintings and clocks.
But it also had some variety in the levels (harbor, beach, tree-top village thing with blazing chomps, greenland village, a hotel with weird boos, amusement park).
Fake Edit: It seems I'm one of the few who loved Sunshine. :( _________________

Iunno, I'm pretty fond of Sunshine since it has a lot of nostalgic value for me, but it doesn't really compare to the first Galaxy. _________________

Fuk everyone sunshine is my favorite 3d Mario. Galaxy is good but I love the movement and freedom fludd gives you. Getting those upgrades and just going crazy in delfino plaza is awesome. I also liked the themed level designe. _________________

64 continues to be the best 3D Mario. The fact that it is the first only makes it more impressive. Galaxy was foine until they decided that you had to use wacky motion controls to play stupid forced mini games for stars. _________________

I both like Sunshine and rank it below all other 3D Marios.
It was a good game, but it did have a few too many frustrations, some of which were borne from FLUDD issues.
