At least in my opinion.
There's also the issue of waiting too long, in which case you get nothing. _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

Well I'm actually surprised that there is no way to save during missions. This would make casual gamers stay away since they can't play games like these.
Luckily I had only died during the boss fights and never during the main quest. _________________ "Don't let it end like this...Tell them I said something." Pancho Villa

Oh wow, I died on the first mission at the snow mines. Well, not exactly because I got saved by the bone. I had no idea that was its purpose of that item. I kept falling off the rope bridge, lost over 100 HP due to the ****ing gyro controls. I didn't even move and Luigi would fall by himself -- even when the wind wasn't blowing. Which is really odd because I had no problems with the other tight-rope sections. _________________

The wind doesn't affect Luigi, y'know. You just move forward like always.
I found the tightropes were pretty easy if I just sprinted across them while gradually increasing how much I tilted the 3DS. I could never keep my balance all the way through, so I start off keeping my balance, then correcting Luigi's shaking by turning the 3DS up to 45 degrees in either direction. |

Gyro controls in this game suck. Just wait until you get to the Snow Mines boss Charlie. _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

Not to mention they completely fail to explain how to jump to another rope xD _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

Eh? I could swear they did. The first time you encountered a stage with parallel ropes/beams, I think in the clock mansion.
Also I can't be sure but it feels like Luigi is programmed to start losing his balance even if you keep the gyro still? |

Nope, at least in Dutch it only says: "jump to the other beam to reach the other side", or something like that, but not how.

I was fine with the other beams, but that long windy rope bridge was just way off. Luigi would immediate fall off within a second of getting on the thing. I even tried starting off with the 3DS on a desk to see if it matter, but he still sways like crazy. _________________

I was able to figure out how to jump to parallel ropes just because it was pretty similar to the rail controls in Sonic Heroes.
That being said, Sonic Heroes had better rail controls than Dark Moon
and even those weren't very good. _________________ SOON.

I never had problems with the gyro throughout the whole game. I kept Luigi in absolute balance whenever I held my 3DS completely still. Its very sensitive, but it's easy to stay balance. I guess it might be the 3DS for some or they couldn't keep it still. I only had problems with the balance board or ropes in the beginning since I didn't paid attention on how to jump from one to the other.
So I finally beat the game! This was a well done game and the best 3DS I played so far. Each mansion was simply great and rich in variety. I enjoyed the second mansion the best overall. I just love how the second mansion was layout especially with all the plants. I can't believe I made it all way through without help from anybody, without tips, and without a walkthrough. I never got stuck and I rarely died at all.
I'm not sure if I should go back and get all the boos for the extra missions. _________________ "Don't let it end like this...Tell them I said something." Pancho Villa

Baby Jesus give me strength! There's like three missions at the mines and then there's that rape-face boss. What the **** is up with this situation? The cart is over-heating inside the depths of an ice-covered anal canal. And how many anal-beads am I supposed to score? Sometimes rape-face rages, sometimes it doesn't and it's game over AGAIN. What am I missing here? _________________
