I bought the game when it came out, but just finally got around to starting it. After my tour of Columbia, I'm feeling up for some cheerful JRPG... and it turns out the cute little kid is a mother****er, what a way to start the game! And is he supposed to be British? Because it seems like he loses his accent from time to time. That would be a nice touch since it would mean he's assimilating with American-ish setting.

His mother is the only one in Motorville with a British accent (explained much later in the game), which I suppose is why he only has a partial accent since he picked up some from his mother and some from the people around town.
