1)when does it get good
2)when will i stop being like "what the **** is going on". I remember not being able to follow the first episode

The show is better characterized by its "wham episodes" but is really good at throwing you into its plot. I was losing interest with the kid arc, but it really picks up as everyone gets older (particularly when one of the "five" leaves)
