Run a illegal copy of Win7. Judge me.
Fick: Finished Minish Cap, just to figure I missed the Bow upgrade, 2 Harts and 7 Kingstones.

| Scott wrote: | Hi Andre,
Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it. Symphonia was a fun one to work on. I think I had a total of 9 sessions on it.
Good for you for reading Yuri's book. I hope it was helpful. I can recommend a few other sources of information as well:
There is another book by veteran voice actor Jack Angel called How To Succeed In Voice-Over Without Ever Losing. It's a great read with all kinds of nuggets of wisdom.
There are two free podcasts you can find on iTunes that I recommend:
Talkin' Toons With Rob Paulsen (The first few episodes are just him, then it gets a lot more interesting as he starts bringing in guests, which are always great.)
Voice Acting Mastery with Crispin Freeman is another podcast. These episodes are short and Crispin addresses everything from what kind of microphones to buy (if you want to record auditions from home) to questions regarding making a demo and getting an agent.
Where else to start, you ask? That is a broad question. Are you planning on moving to LA, New York, Austin, Dallas, Chicago? Or are you wanting to stay where you are and pursue voice-over there? I can only really speak to the LA market as that is where I am and it's what I know. Are you wanting to pursue animation only, or commercial and promos as well? Wherever you are, or are going, I highly recommend taking improvisation classes. My years of improv training have helped me immensely and continue to do so, whether I'm doing animation, video games, anime, or commercials for radio or TV. It comes in very handy in certain auditions as well.
I'm glad to hear you're studying acting. Many people think they can do funny voices and that's all there is to it, but fail to realize that voice acting is ACTING. So if you've been building your acting chops already, then you're on the right track.
People say the voice-over business is hard to break into, and sometimes they're right. But don't let them discourage you. It is absolutely possible to break in. New people break in every year. If you have a passion for it, and a dream to do it, then by all means follow your heart and make it happen!
If you have more questions I'm happy to give you the best answers I know. Let me know.
All the best,
Scott |

No...that gif comes from a scene where that lady literally pretends to pass out to try and buy time........ That was the joke..........
Not that I expected people to get that reference because 1) no1currs about Britta's gifs and 2) I'm a little ashamed I knew where that gif came from tbh. _________________

I ...decided to use my friend's laptop for mapping instead until I got my money to buy the new version next month.
Thank you for everyone who give me some advice. _________________

I'll probably die of heart attack if I run for like 40 seconds. _________________

| I probably couldn't run a .5K without collapsing in a heap, but I'm going to start a running program tomorrow morning, so I'm sure I'll have much more stamina in a month or two. Not enough to do a 5K, but exercise works wonders pretty fast. |

You don't run at sprinting speed for 32 minutes, or even 40 seconds.
You run at a comfortable jogging speed for 32 minutes. I'm pretty sure that even you would be able to run at such a speed for 40 seconds without fainting. _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious

Dratz, that actually would refute my entire prior statement.
I'm impressed you're still applying for college at that age Arn! _________________ Also known as Sliv, Slivvie, Quilvius, Slivendiferious, and slivijizzisious
