The english version of KH 1.5 Remix isn't going to have Japanese voices. Jesse McCartney (the voice of Roxas) himself confirmed that Square's dubbing the 358/2 Days movie, therefore the game will be in English.
In addition, where in the world did you get that September release date from. They just said that it's coming out Fall 2013, so that could be anywhere from September to December. |

Errr, sorry if I was not clear on that. I was specifically talking about the Japanese release.
The Japanese release of KH 1.5 has only Japanese voices. The USA/EU releases only have English voices.
My mistake on the September part.......could have sworn I read that somewhere though...
Btw, I'll point out there are plenty of bad Japanese video game dubs out there.
Modern Warfare 2's Japanese localization was a complete disaster.

I'm sure people who played this game remember the "No Russian" scene. Well, they translator **** up and translated it as ”殺せ、ロシア人だ” (litterally "Kill the Russians").
Bad translation combined with some extremely low quality voice acting and gamers where pretty pissed off, many threatening to boycott.
"The game is dubbed in Japanese. Many Japanese players are saying the voice track sounds “cheap”, and that it’s hard to follow what is going on. (Not that the English version is any easier!) Other players are unset that the game does not appear to have English language options and have been saying they will not be buying the Japanese version. The sentiment is similar to Western players who would rather play JRPGs in Japanese with English language subtitles."
While Black Ops II was somewhat of an improvement, being sold in both dubbed and subtitled versions, it still has massive translation issues.

| I've created an account just to post. I haven't played any tales game since TOS where the English VA was not bad but i would prefer JP VA. I haven't bought any Tales games since then due to the English VAs. Was disappointed that TOGF was ENGLISH ONLY again, now TOX too. I am strongly against the English VA but we're not discussing this here. YES! TAKE MY MONEY NOW FOR JP VA DLC. You have my vote. |

I recommend emailing Namco about it and suggesting it on Twitter, etc. Seems like the best option at this point.

Not really, ive tried emailing namco a long time ago. They said they do not have that kind of plan to include Japanese VAs. I know you have heart. Ive read the locked thread. There's only so much we can do. =/ |

If you've read the locked thread, you would have noticed that Namco has recently said that they are going to include dual audio in the future. All you have to do is be patient.

"So why not offer options for both English and Japanese voices?" I asked.
"We've definitely heard this feedback from a lot of our fans across the world," Baba said. "I can't promise anything at the moment, but we're definitely looking at the option. I can't say which title it might be in the future, but hopefully, eventually, we might have that option available in one of our titles."
Nothing has been promised, he basically gave the same answer he gave a year ago when asked if Xillia was going to include it or not.
I'm not going to get hopeful.

Well, we can expect a possibility that it may or may not happen XD.
These are typical business responses. They don't want to give out a definite "no, we will never do this" as this discourages people who want this feature from buying the US version anyway in the hope of later getting dual-audio in the later games.

No, I wouldn't buy the DLC for Japanese voices.
Personally, I dislike them. (Played Agarest)
However, I think it would be fair for those who like Japanese voices to enable a choice of the voice language, be it a DLC or in-game choice. |
