Not sure about that... How many DS Tales games did we get here in the US again?
The 3DS got one title so far: Tales of the Abyss.
Honestly, they could port Rebirth, being a PS2 title like Abyss, which would be wonderful in 3D using the perspective and the 2D sprites would mesh very well with it... and it would be the first English version released.
Legendia, being a PS2 as well, would been nice on 3DS, considering the fan base. Same goes with Symphonia... although, hate to say it, they might need to re-record the voices again.
I'm having troubles believing that Innocence R and Hearts R wouldn't work on 3DS. Are the graphics THAT detailled that it would be difficult to port it? The 3DS can run stereoscopic 3D perspective, which is like running 60 to 120 frames per seconds, SURELY it can run Vita games minus a few adjustments. |

I'll take that as definite confirmation Xillia 1 lacks this feature and most likely so does Xillia 2 then.
Oh well, time to crack out my import of Xillia 1 and start playing, and to find a copy of Xillia 2.

I SERIOUSLY doubt Sony is going to be stupid enough to lock the PS4, especially when they didn't region lock the PS Vita. Why would they make such a sudden change?
It will probably have an optional lock like their current consoles do, but I'd be shocked if they went the Nintendo route of forcing everyone to region lock everything.

Pretty sure Baba can dedicate multiple teams for each of these, be a port, a new mothership title or a spin-off. Digital release could be applied to any of these. Namco is also only the publisher. Baba can make as many Tales games as he can just like Katsuhiro Harada can make as many Tekken games as he can. They're not competing with each other. |

3DS is on fire, especially with RPGs this year. Namco has expressed interest in localizing more titles (and 3DS isn't selling **** like Vita), and Nintendo has also said they are trying to help Japanese 3rd parties localize their games. Let's not forget NB had to reprint Abyss 3DS in Europe because it outsold their expectations.
I'd be surprised if we don't get the next 3DS title.

None of the DS Tales games have been localized in Western territories.
But they have been localizing Abyss 3DS. That's bit strange.

Not to sound like a graphic-nut; but if the Remakes of the DS titles on the PSV signal anything, I don't want to know what would happen on the less capable 3DS. Hopefully Namdai handles that personally.
