I'm okay with this. Dory was my favorite character from the film so her getting more focus this time around doesn't bother me so long as like the article mentions Pixar doesn't bloat the movie with too much Dory.
That said there's no way this turns out as bad as Cars 2.

I'm always hesitant when a sequel to a genuine classic is announced. This is especially true for Pixar, whom I can't help but feel disappointed in with the trend of announced sequels.
Yet, I know at its worst it'll still be a solid film, so I can't say I'm not nervously optimistic.

Same here.
While Up and Toy Story 3 were great, I wasn't feeling it for Cars 2 and Brave. (Though Brave was 100000x better than the Cars movies.) Monster U doesn't look all that promising imo.

I'm interested in Monsters U, it's a prequel and the world of Monsters Inc. had a lot going for it.
While I don't care for Finding Dory, at least it's not Planes. For ****'s sake, they want to make it a trilogy and it's not even from Pixar.
