Yeah, it's pretty bad. At the very least I'll probably be doing a speed run of this the weekend before Tempest R comes out so I can get a refresher. Might start playing soon simply because I am intrigued by the translation.

Just to say, I've spent one year working on it, I never actually finish the game and now that it's done, I have no motivation whatsoever to play it anyway. |

Does anyone even want these patches? They're taking years to patch a game that should only take about 2 months. Tempest only has 10 hours of dialog, exactly why does that take a year to accomplish? Someone made an entirely new pokemon game based off 3rd gen graphics in the course of a month.
Seriously it's sort of like when you hear a new game is going to come out in 2 years. By the time it comes out you're like "oh yeah, meh I don't feel like it the game is already remade eh Hearts Vanilla Version WHATEVER". Why did they even continue the tempest patch? They know a better version is guaranteed to come out soon anyway. Eh whatever I like tempest.

I've heard these things called 'personal lives' can be very time consuming and demanding.

So you don't like playing old Tales games and feel Tales of ABC is no longer enjoyable because they released version 2: Tales of ABC: Re-Imagination, the Director's Cut? Good for you. Throughhim stated they did it because they thought it would be funny to release something unexpected, and I doubt they intended for it to take 3 years given, as you point out, how short the game is. I doubt who did and did not want to play it even crossed their mind.
I'm not even working on the Rebirth patch (which I will admit now has more or less stalled) with the prospect of people playing it, I do it because I enjoy it. It is a hobby to relax away from my personal and professional endeavours, but life is life and sometimes things take a little longer in reality than they do in your head.
