Meizanpuu can be connected to its extension, back step and Hadou Meppu. Works for a lot of enemies. Shiden Mettenshou's extention works for light weight enemies, you can chain it to anything after it.
The only arte that comes to mind that it's almost impossible to combo and should never be used is Raizanshou's extension.

I myself find that Meizanpuu, while fine to connect with, has a habit of not carrying enemies with you if your party is also attacking it or obviously if it's too heavy. I have on quite a few occasions dropped the enemy, have lost the combo and gotten hit. When you consider Asbel alone (especially in Coliseum?), it might prove pretty effective, but I don't think it's enough to stay in my setup. Shiden Mettenshou I admit I haven't used very much, but almost immediately I found myself going "well I pretty much use Raizanshou's extension at the end of this and stop there if I don't extend ow." Am I going to have to extend? I mean it's pretty damn awesome, but for now I find myself troubled using it.

I can almost never chain Jarei'issen to Meizanpu.
Seriously, what were they thinking. Jarei'issen moves Asbel so much he's almost out of range.
And Demon Fang sucks in this game.

But Jarei'issen is probably one of the most spammable artes Asbel has, that destroy super barriers AND make you turn around.
Plus it only costs 3CC
Then again Zaihyoujin only costs 2CC...

That boss was actually very easy in the Wii version. They made "second boss" more difficult in ToG F.

| Pretty much every boss on the PS3 version is harder, which is a good thing. The Wii version was easy to the point that it bothered me. |

| I was kind of glad they made that boss a lot harder. Otherwise the fight felt sort of anticlimactic and pointless which always made me scratch my head. |

You people and belittling my near wins. What's the average levels here on vanilla runs? I honestly felt that I wasn't doing anything terribly wrong in strategy, the rest of my party just tended to die really quickly since they wouldn't dodge anything at all.

| There's no Earf because the three spirits are cryas spirits, corresponding to the three nations rather than the basic four elements that are typically used together. Windor's wind cryas, Strahta's water cryas, and Fendel's fire cryas. |

Update: Beat Bryce and got the trophy. Got Soul Orbs for Wooly Boar, Wolf Pup, Giant Bee, Peepit, Filifolia Bud, Bear and Mandragora Sprout.
Plus, I saw Victoria as a child in the childhood arc. How the heck could she look like this:
