I was thinking that while I was typing. That series sure knows how to make unique powers

Like geno or this other guy?

On-topic: I want my PTSD character which creates party members by schizophrenia issues, and stabbing one of his tomodachis means suicide.
In other words; party members may resemble people when MC underwent the following: bullying, rape, parents' disintegration, etc.

I'd love to see a female MC that went through rape, and her party members are all zelos-like.

other playable characters being figments of the main character's imagination would be pretty amazing

I would be wholly in support of that

and someone who heals by punching the one they want to heal

and a sentient hivemind of plankton or similar micro-organism

personally, i would prefer to see more brave italian men who punch frogs

but that's just me.

I want more pets to be playable only. Repede knows how to kick major ass in battles.

I'd like to play as Ba'ul, either form.

Covering Leia's head with the Ba'ul attachment is as close as you can get. It's not the same, but it makes victory skits amusing at least.

This is a compelling idea.
However I might have to lean towards the idea of teenage delinquent who can vaporize anything his right hand swipes and also happens to be a total bro

You can go significantly older than 50 if you make the female in question a mage (ie a 70 year old wizardess that just casts black magic from afar). Older characters always have a lot of potential in any story because their age lends itself to a rich and layered history, so I'm certainly in favor of seeing an older female character. I just wish Tales would drop the 'durrrrrrr u old' jokes. It's shallow and annoying to go on and on about how someone in their late 20s-mid 30s is far beyond their prime, rather than funny.

Can I just hire you to come up with more ideas for partymembers?

Women over 50 can be fighters too. That said, the idea of an old witch sounds awesome.

That's exactly the whole point of my idea!

I'd love to see a Madotsuki-like character on a rpg for at least once; with her proper mental issues, own-made world, disorder-esque monsters & characters, and weapons.

And yes, it must be a solo adventure, set on an steampunk-styled world/post-apocalyptic world/testing room ala Portal.

A schizophrenic character that could switch between personalities (and thus fighting styles) at a whim would be pretty cool too.

Style Shift? Nah, Personality Shift, son.

Same fighting style and not really at will, but... Emil? Also reminds me of Wingull to some extent...

Ehh, Emil's "I'll smack you with a branch" strategy can hardly be called a fighting style.

Imo.
