I do wonder. It's not as recent a release for them, so I don't know if that makes it more or less likely to get a digital re-release.
Did they get Vesperia 360 on the Games Marketplace like we did in NA?
waiting for *that game* discussion to come up

I'd be happy if the announcements were just little, since I freaking love stuff like posters and merchandise, the PSOne titles would be cool, though i don't really need that anymore, a lot of fans would love that dearly!! I can't really think of what else a surprise would be honestly, other than game announcements so I'll be very excited no matter what it is really xD No such thing as a bland Tales surprise~ Unless its a browser game....then no ;p

Older Tales titles available digitally could potentially do amazing things as far as public awareness of the series, and - perhaps a tad too optimistic - its popularity.

I think they might start going digital. Hopefully Xillia will be available digitally at launch. Older titles (aka, Destiny, "Destiny II", Legendia, Abyss) appearing on PSOne/PS2 classics would also be great.
They might even do a surprise announcement of Xillia 2 before ToX launches. A lot of big name companies are probably putting games on PS4/nextBox this fall, so a Xillia 2 release on PS3 this holiday might not be too crazy. They've had time to work on it too; they're probably sitting on Xillia right now.
There's only one thing they could do that would surprise me; but the thought isn't worth entertaining.
