I didn't mind that a lot, but they could've done it a bit different... Like having her say easy sentences fluently or dragging out some syllables to show that she's thinking about the next words.

I would have loved this yes ^^^ Hopefully the next time she appears they do this or she's speaking her native language, because she came across as quite an intelligent person in general (that was easily excited) and what seems to be a commander or sly spy. Or both.

Oh, I'm finally getting around to this:

-PS4 enhanced port of Innocence R
-much improved graphics
-non-random encounters

aaaand that's about all I have, apart from story changes, which I am not too expert in with this game.

The return of Styles would be cool, but I'm not really certain it would mesh well with the new game mechanics that R had.

A change I thought of recently going through the EX Dungeon:

I know some other Tales have it but it feels pronounced here: HAVE EVERYONE LEVEL THE SAME, whether they are in the active party or not :/ Ricardo and Ange are ALMOST a full 20 levels behind everyone else, and its sad xD

I do use them occasionally just not as much as the others, I swap parties around a lot in games where I have more than 5 favourites/characters I like but not favourite.

You could always equip the Sub Ex skill to let them earn the same exp when subbed?

I get stressed out whenever I forget to equip it though because I'm OCD about getting everyone to the same level :c

I do have that on everyone, I just didn't have it on those two for a long time xD actually i'm not sure if they know it, but I do have most of the style board almost done xD

I forgot another thing.

In this game you carry over your artes alongside levels.

The only way I can avoid this is sticking the Exp. Cancel skill as soon as possible and kill everything with maxed Nebilim on easy mode. Helpful for Kongway, and you get mystic artes at the start.

Maybe just for a reminder: how much Innonence R was changed compared to the original? Yes, there's the obvious like 2 new characters, the Triverse, 3D battles, 4-character party and revamped arte lists, but ASIDE from that, does it feel like the same game? Are the characters the same in each version in terms of personalities, goals and such? Did the story change at all?

If you ask me, in a topic about "what would you change in a Tales game", that would be a good thing to list and shortly discuss what are the changes from the DS to the VITA version. (I said "shortly" because there's already a topic about Innocence R)

From what I've heard, the existing characters were unaltered, and QQ and Kongwai are just sort of "there" for the existing story without really altering any consequences.

They also redid the dungeons, thank god. Interestingly enough, I don't think they bothered in Hearts R? The demo featured a dungeon that seemed to be the exact same layout as in the DS version.

You also get a few extra dungeons, a second fight against Thitose, rematch against the bosses (except Pigwald) in the arena. While there's no proper "styles", the style grid makes up for it granting you several bonuses when you buy a cluster of skills.

As a reminder, the skits featuring the past lives are now implemented in a first playthrough, as opposed of being a New Game+ thing.

One of the things they changed, is how Hasta stabs Luca.

There's also a couple lines added in here and there, some scenes were altered slightly with added lines, IE Ruca's resolution, his greeting with Illia near the end etc. and when Spada first realizes who Ruca is.

Also they added in a whole bunch of sidequests, some were pretty sentimental, others silly.

In terms of Hearts' dungeons Flamfas, so far they are exactly the same, they just look a whole lot better because of the 3D XD I don't mind, didn't particularly hate any of them, except the sand part of the Final Dungeon which I didn't bother to go through because it was mostly optional.

I actually meant to post last night about Innocence.

I started playing ToIR last weekend. Two things;

-Voice the skits!! So weird that they weren't. A lot of those skits were voiced in the DS version, weren't they? (Or were they unvoiced there too? Can't remember )
-Change Spada's basic attack animation. It was kind of weird. Anyone else notice this?

The few that were voiced in vanilla were voiced in R too, plus a few more.
