So, is the Morgan in the game from that timeline? That doesn't make much sense since both Morgans are present and it makes even less sense if the Avatar married a second-generation unit. _________________ Icon via iconography. |

No, FoD timeline is entirely separate. I'll spoil everything below.
| Quote: | Timeline 1 - Present
Timeline 2 - Lucina's Future
Timeline 3 - Morgan's Future, IF one of her parents is a second-gen character
Timeline 4 - Future of Despair
Because FoD is separate, you can have characters like Lucina or Owain talk to their FoD selves for special conversations. The Avatar can speak to both Morgans to get them to retreat. The final boss of FoD is Grima in the body of the FoD timeline's Avatar. |

| Quote: | Presumably, Morgan would be from Lucina's future if she is born from a first-gen character. Especially if she has a sibling, because the sibling remembers/recognizes Morgan.
But I've heard some people say that the game mentions Morgan potentially being from a separate timeline even if she is siblings with one of the second-gen characters. It's confusing to say the least. |

Everyone that can be a Mercenary must be one for Armsthrift.
Everyone that can be a Dark Flier must be one for Galeforce.
That is the rule of the universe.
Also there aren't much in the way of "best" couples per se since what you want each child to do is gonna differ from player to player but common setups I see are
Chrom x Female Avatar for OP Lucina that can reclass to everything and Morgan with Rightful King
Chrom x Olivia if playing as Male Avatar, for non-crap Lucina inheritance and passing down Peg Knight and Myrmidon for Galeforce and Astra/Swordfaire/Lethality
Gaius/Donnel x Sully/Tharja/Nowi for passing Pegasus Knight to a daughter that doesn't naturally inherit it
Male Avatar x Tharja/Nowi from above for the same reason, but depending on physical or magical preference for the offspring
Alternatively, Male Avatar x Lucina for Morgan with Aether
Sumia x Frederick to make up for her negative mods in Str and Def and his negative mod in Spd
Cordelia x Lon'qu for passing down Myrmidon to Severa and OP Skl/Spd inheritance
Lissa x.... I dunno, Gregor for Mercenary? I dunno.
Cherche x Vaike for +7 Str mod Gerome (he'll be ripped apart by mages, though)
Maribelle/Miriel x who gives a crap, Ricken and Henry I guess |

Well there's the random Risen battles that crop up on the map.
Also Reeking Boxes that summon those same battles, but cost 500G on Normal and 4800G on Hard+. Pays for itself and then some on normal, will drain your finances quick in Hard and slower at the endgame, occasionally even being profitable.
Also SpotPass Team battles, but they'll only grant 1 experience a kill if playing Lunatic.
And that free Marth DLC map gives pretty good experience for low level units.
And the paid map EXPonential Growth, part of the Golden Pack, was specifically made for min/max grinding but works just as well on low level units.
The other paid map part of the pack, Golden Gaffe, is also worth some easy kills even though it was made for easy gold for min/maxing, as the enemies will only attack through countering and are weaker than normal units of their level, varying between level 1 unpromoted, 10 unpromoted, 5 promoted, and 20 promoted.
More often than not grinding will make the game too easy, as is the case with most RPGs, but the option's still there if you hit a wall. |

Battles through Spotpass
and you need a master seal or second seal to change your class _________________

You go into Wireless stuff, access the bonus box, and you can summon characters from old FEs to the map and fight them to recruit them, buy items from them, or just hire them with gold. We're on Radiant Dawn characters at the moment, so characters from FE7-9 are all available right now. They can't Support anyone, so long-term uses are limited, but they can be useful earlier on.
Also reclassing is done with a Second Seal, available as drops or purchased for 2500G after Chapter 16, any time after reaching level 10 unpromoted to change to any base class available to that character. Using it at level 10 promoted will also allow you to change to any of the promoted classes available to them. Stats and skills are preserved when changing, but your level returns to 1 and the class' base stats are added/subtracted, and growth rates change a bit too. |

I thought Florina's team was only level 3. <_<;
Anyway, unless you're insane about min-maxing, I wouldn't really worry about "best" marriage options. Sumia is totally fine for Lucina. She still gets Galeforce, and she gets a +4 skill mod and +5 speed mod, which are useful stats for just about any class.
Also, though Armsthrift is really nice, there aren't enough characters who have the Mercenary class to actually distribute it that well, so I wouldn't really worry about it. The only potential parents with the class are Cordelia (whose offspring you can't control since she's a female character), Donnel, Gregor, and the avatar. That means you can really only select three child characters max to give the class to (not including Severa, Inigo, and Morgan, who all get it automatically), and it benefits everyone equally, so just do whatever.

Male avatar by Spotpass Character 3 is actually the best for magical for the +9 magic mod if you had an unreduced magic boon, and Spotpass Character 5 is also very much in the running with a +8 magic mod for Morgan and potential inheritance of the Shadowgift skill. _________________
