Don't worry about it!
I think Fujishima did a better job at drawing Leon than Inomata did Yuri. He just looks like a girl (inb4 LOL BUT HE ALWAYS DOES).
Discussion on Abyss begins here. _________________ Gaming in 2013:

Nah, Inomata always gives her girls gigantic eyelashes and dainty lips. _________________ Icon via iconography. |

Updated graphics and updated (maybe more Vesperia-esque) Battle System.
Lengthen sidequest time frames!
That's it for me. _________________

Haven't played the game yet (3DS version is a goal here). However, I've heard rather infamous reports of bugs, glitches and even freezing issues on both the PS2 and 3DS versions, in both English and Japanese. One such issue was that upon using a certain MA, the game just freezes.
Does it still hold truth? If so, I'd really like to change the QA team. Why? simple, because it's unacceptable, especially for the 3DS version, where the game went through yet ANOTHER testing team.
Also, I found this a while back: (SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!)
It's fan-made... sorta. It's a clip from the Japanese anime which someone mixed with the game's English audio. So, I'd like to change the fact that the anime is only in Japan. Seriously, we've gotten Tales of Vesperia: First Strike in English, with some of the original English actors, so why not this one? It's not like Abyss isn't popular or anything, because the anime would be a nice thing to have. |

We actually did get the anime, albeit subbed.
And I'll post my ideas when I'm not on my phone. _________________ Gaming in 2013:

Well, I was asking for a dubbed version with the Abyss actors... |

Short Answer: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Long Answer: I agree it's disappointing, I [might] have dipped into my wallet to buy them if they were dubbed by the original actors. But it costs a lot to get them, and it might also be harder to get them all if they're all busy with other projects (say, as opposed to working with a new *AND* available cast). And (back when I still bought anime VHS/DVD's -- that's right, not BR) they'd sell each volume at like $20-30 a pop, so there's that problem that they're expensive to buy. This is made worse by fansubbing making it easier to grab titles for free (and also made worse for the localizer who opted for ONLY a Japanese audio track to literally make the Abyss anime experience almost no different than if someone just watched it online when it was being subbed). And, not to point fingers, but Abyssal Chronicles also offers the episodes, or did, till recently when I last checked. There's little money in anime it seems; half of anime localizers have merged with other corporations or closed-up shop leaving only a few to have the monopoly on the people who will still buy them (and those who get them on Television; episodes are expensive for stations to buy from what I've heard). There is an honor system in paying what you get, but the target audience is either jobless or has a crappy minimum wage job that makes affording new anime volumes a pain in the butt, especially when some are as expensive as they are -- and in the case of BluRay, they usually are. Doesn't help that mangas are often "better" (granted, that's a subjective opinion) and almost 1/3 to 1/2 the price of an anime. _________________ Updated Feb, 22,'13~!! *

-Updated graphic
-Rebalance difficulty setting
-Better AI
-Aerial fight
-Rebalance the cast
Jade is supposed to be the best mage but Tear and Anise outclassed him at the end of the game because Bloody Howling and Holy Lance are overpowered. Not to mention Tear's Pendant and Ant Lion Doll.
Also, the only thing Luke wins against Guy is the elemental variety.
Guy outclass him in everything else. _________________

Cantabile was originally planned to be Guy's foil
but Van is in-game
Sync just plants the curse seal on him and that's it. He's meant to be Ion's foil. _________________

I guess they can only afford so much plot and resources to certain characters though, in which case, I thought Guy's conflict with Luke's family as friend AND foe to Hod pretty adequate.
And yeah, it seems Sync's only "beef" with Guy was that the game already had Arietta rival against Anise (...and you can't switch those roles; Guy beating on a little girl would just be sick...or be hilariously mean). I think they could have played the idea of being a replica better given Mary's situation, and played it against Sync's own existential dilemma.
I agree with better graphics. The stock emotions looked like hell and the polygon count was a step-up, but just a "step", from N64 (weirder in how I think even Symphonia looked better).
Difficulty was done really poorly: More HP =/= Tougher.
A "skip scene" button maybe for the people who haated all that chatter.
An extra dungeon here and there to balance the talk-talk-dungeon-talk rhythm the game had; and maybe more intuitive dungeon design.
An extra Asch-in-party scenario to flesh him out, make him more loveable, and less of a complete t*t.
Natalia rebalance -- she's good, but I definitely think the weaker link amongst the party.
An "f" arc?? STARRING LUKASCH (which sounds like the Portuguese "Lucas"!). _________________ Updated Feb, 22,'13~!! *

She's the best healer, though.
Heal can restore everyone's health faster than Revitalize's awful long cast.
Angel Bless ressurect, fully restore HP, give stat boost and prevent KO.
But her physical attack and Mystic Artes are underpowered. _________________
