How would you all feel about Namco announcing a new Tales through Nintendo Direct?
I think it would be really cool. It would be a great way to grab the attention of international audiences, and Nintendo is alway looking to showcase 3rd party software to say "hey, people are making games for our platforms besides us."
Hyping the possibility of it happening tomorrow and I know I shouldn't be. :/ New trademarks haven't cropped up, but I guess they could do a remake (Symphonia WiiU?) or a port (DestinyR 3DS?).

I would have to buy that console and it's hard enogh to tell parents that I want a PS2. They considered it a dead console.
I don't think there will a new Tales game soon but it would be nice a ToS remake, even though the game is so perfect that is hard to make it better. |

I think Legendia would be nice a Wii U remake. Every characters with mystic arte. Okay.
Tales of the World should make a 3DS. New Narikiri Dungeon will made on new game type. Tactics or something whatever...
Sony will make a new Radiant Mythology title (not 4). Characters until Graces.
If Xillia is appear, there's pretty excessive.

Regardless of what kind of Tales will be announced, I agree with Flamfas that it will net the attention Tales needs.

I'd rather Tales not go to Wii U, but I'm sure there are lots of fans that will own one so it might happen. I'd rather the 3DS for ports/remakes, honestly. I agree though, it'd be nice publicity if Nintendo did some nice announcing and such.

I'd really like it 
However, for a Wii U game, I'd rather see a new game than a port or remake. Then again, I wouldn't mind seeing ToX2 Wii U version... with ToX1 bundled in and each with extra Director's Cut stuff 
I'd like to see more ports for the 3DS, but didn't Tales Studio said it was hard to make the 3D effects in Abyss? I suspect that would turned them down from making new ports. |

They could always nix the 3D for ports? I assume it was only difficult to implement because the game was not built with 3D in mind. ToDr's main selling point on 3DS in Japan wouldn't be OOOH 3D, but rather, OOOOOH LEON PORTABLE.

2D Tales wouldn't look good in 3D anyway. Just look at how NSMB2 turned out.
Yeah, I would like more 3DS ports or remakes. I don't want to see anything on the Wii U, I rather see them make games for the PS4 instead.

I think games like ToDR, Hearts, and NDX that use 2D sprites on 3D backgrounds would look great in 3D. A Paper Mario type look.
Anyway, Japan is getting a 3rd party 3DS direct next week, maybe they'll announce something?

Huh? Why? The Tales games could benefit from the Wii U gamepad or as much the 3 DS Tales games got.

Would it be possible in HD? I can understand if it's a game for the 3DS or Vita, but making that many sprites can be costly and time-consuming if we're talking home consoles. |
