That makes sense but the way the fingers "disappeared" made it look like a hoof.

I kind of regret clicking on this thread because of those pictures. I kind of laughed but kind of felt like throwing up at the same time.
MLP doesn't seem like a fandom so much as a lifestyle for some people. When it becomes a lifestyle, it can't be healthy. The pictures being evidence of that. I don't mind the conventions or the documentaries (I've watched Doctor Who documentaries so who am I to talk?), but I do have a problem with people thinking they date fictional characters. Ficional animal characters.
I remember having a lot of the old (original) MLP stuff for the earlier years of my life - when I was like, 5 or so. My cousin, my brother, and I would get stuff from it as gifts. Kid me liked TMNT more. And oh god, so glad I grew up without the internet, because TMNT stuff online can be pretty creepy too.

I liked some of the images that Jazz posted, like that blue pony holding someone at gunpoint or standing inside the bathroom. It's cute seeing cartoon characters juxtaposed against real backdrops.
As for the skit about Twilight being depressed because her brony is going back to work... well... |

This thread makes me sad, because it just shows how much people hate bronies. Although I will admit, those pictures are disturbing. (Again, this is a minority though.) But w/e. People ain't gonna change their minds about this, and I ain't gonna bother trying to argue, which is something most online bronies should learn how to do. Just give your opinion, and leave it at that.
