@Andre
I remember when I was in my father's car and heard him complain that the price was too high (90 cents!)
Good ol' time... _________________

Oh, man, I didn't know there were any other Homestuck readers here. Yeah, I've caught up and have managed to completely dodge the worst parts of the fandom - not sure how, but I'm grateful. But I wasn't actually fully invested in the comic until middle of Act 5 or so; it kind of took me that long to get into it, especially since the first time through I did not understand without having the Wikia's explanation there alongside of it. Now I love it, just crossed fingers for continuing to stay out of the awful parts. _________________

You have to keep quiet about it or SOME PEOPLE will never let you hear the end of it. >:[
I read Homestuck, though. It's fun etc. The fandom can be a bit cray, but that can be said about every fandom ever anyway! _________________

Yeah, I'm caught up on Homestuck too. Came off a break a few months back and caught myself back up (at least partially because my gf is a massive fan of it). I do enjoy it, but I've gotten that weird fatigue which comes from being continuously exposed to something by people way more into it than you. At least that's a thing for me, definitely. I was REALLY into it when I first read it (I went from the start to Cascade, the latest update when I started, in about five days) but my enthusiasm has waned somewhat. Like everyone else, I mostly keep my nose clean of the fandom, although there are some remarkable talents if you look in the right places. _________________

I've read so little of Homestuck that I don't think I made a dent in it. I know a lot of people who LOVE it, and they insist I catch up. But its massive size against what I'd rather be reading means that doesn't happen. I only have so much free time.
Maybe someday, but I have my doubts. _________________ MushyK -> Cal

Fick/Neg: THQ is finished, which makes me scared for Saints Row 4. Honestly. _________________

You're not one?
Cal, you should try reading at least the first two acts??? And if you don't like those, you won't like it at all, so you can safely give it up imo. _________________

You know funny thing is I was sort of aware of the HS fandom before I checked it out. Prior to reading HS I assumed the whole story was about grey people with horns spitting in a bucket.
Don't google that btw kthx <3 |

If the fandom wasn't offputting enough, the length certainly is. Reading Homestuck seems like it would require a hell of a lot of time and I'm not really interested enough to bother.
Also I got steadily less interested in Problem Sleuth the more I read so that doesn't give me hope in going into Homestuck... _________________

I don't remember where I quit (Midnight Crew was my favourite group of folks, can I just read about them?), but I got a couple of acts in before I decided it really wasn't for me. I don't enjoy stories where it takes give acts for the story to pick up. I get its appeal, though,
I do, though, very much admire Andrew Hussie for becoming a god damn millionaire for doing a webcomic.
And I'm not exaggerating that.
(I know most of those costs will go to the team developing most of it but considering it's one of the highest funded kickstarters ever...) _________________
