Not SUPER happy about summer release, BUT hopefully this means lots and LOTS of promotions for the game. I want ToX2 over here damnit!

I'm slightly jealous. My local ABC would never cover that. Not even on their site. Only times I've seen a video game mentioned on there is when there's some huge release coming.

I never expected that Namco would actually advertise in the west. This is good, with this much attention, I'm sure the game will sell really well. More publicity is just what the series needs.

I don't think that actually aired on TV. I think it may have just been for their website.

I doubt it, not when they see the sales of Project X Zone, as hyped as I am for it, this is bound to sell more.

If Graces sold enough for them to bring this over, I think we're pretty safe.

yeah but they didn't do an aggressive marketing campaign for graces. they're going all out on this, i wouldn't be surprised if it happens to bomb and they go "well we've done everything we can do to promote this series"

i'm just saying namco has done everything they can for Tales now, this isn't like with Graces' localization. People need to actually put their money where their mouths are and that's not just for buying yourself a copy but spreading the word about the game as well in hopes other people will buy it as well.

Yeah, I've been spreading the word quite a bit, and have got about 3 friends to pre-order Xillia, by letting them try out Graces f XD

And true, all they did with Graces f was have posters and a TV ad at Gamestop, so it could have all been funded by them, we'll see how it goes, because really, we haven't missed many console mothership titles...so Xillia 2 would be the only one to worry about, unless it is in fact, counted as mothership

Yeah, after all this marketing it'll definitely be a problem if the game fails.

I do think that Xillia will sell better than Graces at the least. Although I don't know how many sales they're expecting or hoping for.
