Jude's a fist fighter. Of course they did. 'Fang' is in reference to a sword, which he doesn't use. Even Luke in Abyss has Demon Fist as he uses his empty fist instead of his sword for the arte.
I also always assumed they were seperate artes with different names even in Japan. Does anyone who's familiar with the original Japanese releases know if this is the case or not?

They're both Majjinken, but they use different kanji for "ken".

I think they're both Majinken. I could be wrong, though. |

Yeah, they're both Majinken, but as others have said, the kanji for "ken" is different in them.
魔神剣=Demon Fang (ken=sword)
魔神拳=Demon Fist (ken=fist)
魔神犬=Demon Dog (ken=dog)
